The Ocean County and Monmouth County 7-on-7 Tournaments will both be held on Wednesday night after being postponed from Monday because of thunderstorms.

The Ocean County Tournament will be held from 5-9 p.m. at Toms River East, while the Monmouth County Tournament also starts at 5 p.m. on the artificial turf at Middletown North.

The winner of the Ocean County 7-on-7 tournament will play the winner of the Monmouth County 7-on-7 at 5:45 p.m. on Thursday in advance of the 7 p.m. kickoff of the 37th annual U.S. Army All-Shore Gridiron Classic at Brick Township's Keller Memorial Field.

Barnegat is the defending Shore Conference 7-on-7 champion after being Freehold Boro in last year's final. The other teams participating in the Ocean County tournament are Brick, Toms River South, Toms River East, Lakewood, Central, Point Beach, Southern, Lacey, Brick Memorial, Jackson Memorial, Jackson Liberty and Monsignor Donovan.

The Ocean County tournament is a chance to see Shore Sports Network's first-, second-, and third-team All-Shore quarterback selections from 2013 in action. Brick's Carmen Sclafani, Toms River South's Tymere Berry and Barnegat's Cinjun Erskine are part of a strong group of returning quarterbacks in the Shore this fall. The Monmouth County tournament also features top returning quarterbacks like Middletown North sophomore Donald Glenn and a host of up-and-coming talent.

Previous Shore Conference 7-on-7 champions include Lacey in 2012 and 2010 and Howell in 2011.
