Shore Sports Network's Mark Brown was at MetLife Stadium on Sunday Dec. 27 to capture all the action in the New York Jets' thrilling 26-20 overtime victory over the New England Patriots.

Quarterback Ryan Fitzpatrick found wide receiver Eric Decker for a 6-yard touchdown on the opening possession of overtime after New England won the toss, yet elected to kick off to the Jets. Fitzpatrick made them pay by driving the Jets 80 yards in five plays for the winning score, putting the Jets at 10-5 with one game remaining and leaving them in control of their own destiny for an AFC playoff berth.

Fitzpatrick was named AFC Offensive Player of the Week after his 296-yard, three-touchdown performance. It is the second time in two weeks Fitzpatrick has earned that distinction.

The Jets can lock up a playoff spot by defeating their AFC East rival Buffalo Bills and former head coach Rex Ryan on Sunday at Ralph Wilson Stadium. That game can be heard on our sister station, 105.7 The Hawk.
