John Gorman, 49 of Aberdeen Road, conned victims out of thousands of dollars in his scam to sell season tickets by fraudulently advertising and selling personal seat licenses on Craigslist, according to the Monmouth County Prosecutors Office.

Gorman admitted in May of 2016 that he sold season tickets to people for the New York Giants between November of 2008 and July of 2010.

An investigation in 2014 uncovered that Gorman fraudulently advertised that he had and was selling New York Giants’ Personal Seat Licenses (PSLs).

Investigators believe that he “took advantage of the fact that the New York Giants Director of Ticketing is also named John Gorman, purposely leading several of his victims to believe that he was in fact employed by the Giants.”

The victims paid Gorman for the seats they never actually ended up receiving tickets for.

The Judge who gave Gorman the sentence told him he must pay the victims back a full $116,550.00.
