10-Barnegat 15, 7-Red Bank Catholic 14
Down 7-1 after the first quarter, the Bengals (6-3) put together an incredible rally to come back and stun the Caseys (9-4) to reach the quarterfinals for the second straight season.
Senior midfielder Ricky Gerena, junior midfielder J.J. McKenna and senior attackman Matt Manno each scored four goals to fuel the comeback. Junior attackman Ryan Reynolds added a pair of goals and an assist and sophomore defenseman Hunter Narozniak also scored. Gerena also had two assists. Sophomore Kyle Kessinger made six saves.
