Hawks Playoff Game To Be Broadcast on Shore Sports Network

Monmouth University’s first-ever appearance in the NCAA Division 1 Football Championship will be broadcast live on the Shore Sports Network’s 1160/1310AM.  The Hawks (9-2) earned an at-large bid into the 24-team FCS Playoffs and will visit the University of Northern Iowa on Saturday (5pm) at the 16,000 seat UNI Dome in Cedar Rapids.

While Monmouth earned its first playoff berth this will be the 19^th appearance for the Panthers (7-4) whose losses came against Iowa State and three Missouri Valley Conference opponents who are also in the field.  It’s the first meeting between the teams with the winner to face South Dakota State in the second round on December 2.

Matt Harmon and former Hawk Brian Sweeney will call the action on 1160/1310AM beginning with the pre-game show at 4:50.  The game can also be heard on shoresportsnetwork.com and through the Free Shore Sports Network mobile app.
