No. 1 Southern 15, Jackson Liberty 2

Dylan Jinks scored six goals and added four assists to lead the Rams (6-0) past the Lions (1-3) in Jackson. Kyle Mulrane and Nick Simonelli each had two goals and one assist while James Manzo scored twice and Chris Smith finished with a goal and two assists. Senior midfielder Shawn McManus had three assists, including the 100th of his career.

No. 7 Freehold Township 6, Holmdel 2

John Poole had two goals and two assists and Billy Sasso scored a goal to go along with a game-high nine ground balls as the Patriots (4-2) topped the Hornets (1-4) in Holmdel. Matt Schroepfer made nine saves to pick up the win.

Tom Rogan had a goal and an assist for Holmdel.

 

Red Bank Catholic 13, No. 8 Colts Neck 6

Senior attackman Tim Barile led the way with four goals and one assist as the Caseys (2-1) upended the Cougars (0-3) in Red Bank.

Brett Habich and Alec Mintz each finished with two goals and three assists while Julian Esposito had two goals and two assists and Liam McArdle had two goals and one assist. Senior defenseman Matt Pieringer had a team-high six ground balls.

Anthony Mauriello scored twice for Colts Neck, which received another strong game from junior goalie Andrew Halmi.

 

No. 10 Wall 14, Marlboro 1

 

Brick 18, Donovan Catholic 4

Hunter Palmer scored a game-high five goals to notch his 100th career point and lead the Dragons past the Griffins (2-3) in Brick for their first 4-0 start in program history.

Nick Marra scored four times, Phil Sammarco had a hat trick and Mickey Holland and Nick  D'Eufemia each scored twice.

 

Middletown South 10, Toms River East 7

 

Middletown North 11, Point Boro 2

Bryan Flannigan and Justin Russo each scored four goals, and Ryan Aker had two goals and five assists to power the Lions (5-2) past the Panthers (1-4) in Middletown.

 

Brick Memorial 20, Long Branch 1

Bailey Sharpe scored four goals and added two assists and Billy Porter had three goals and four assists to fuel a nondivisional win for the Mustangs (2-2) over the Green Wave (1-4).

Mike Mowder and Zack Morton had hat tricks and Bobby Gellatly and Dylan Visser each scored twice.
