No. 1 Southern 14, Lacey 5

Senior attackman Dylan Jinks fired in six goals and added two assists, giving him 12 goals and four assists in his last two games and brining his season goals total to 49 as the Rams (11-0, 5-0) ran by the Lions (6-4, 1-2) in Manahawkin.

Sophomore attackman Kyle Mulrane scored a career-high five goals, junior attackman Nick Simonelli had a goal and four assists and senior midfielder Shawn McManus had two assists. Will Johnson and Chris Smith also scored, while Brendan Lefanto made 11 saves.

Connor Wilson scored twice for Lacey and Ryan Mahon had a goal and two assists. Lucas Sirotniak added a goal and an assist an Dan McAvoy also tallied for the Lions. Mike Trezza made 15 saves.

 

Nondivisional

Red Bank 19, Middletown North 4

Junior attackman Cole Smolokoff scored five goals and added four assists to lead the way as the Bucs (4-7) ended a three-game losing streak and took out their frustration of back-to-back overtime losses with an lopsided victory over the Lions (7-4).

Junior attackman Ryan Gilmartin added three goals and four assists and junior midfielder Brian Fagan added four goals and one assist. Dan Vilardi had two goals, two assists and 16 ground balls, while Brayden Seely finished with three goals and one assist and Brian Lynch scored twice. Junior goalie Jon Pierce made 14 saves.

Bryan Flannigan scored twice for Middletown North and Kevin Powers made 17 saves.

 

Nonconference

New Egypt 18, Donovan Catholic 8

Pete Schlendorf scored four times and Alex Rosiario scored twice, but the Griffins (3-5) could not overcome a 10-goal outburst by New Egypt's Kyle Prouty in a nonconference loss to the Warriors (4-3). Prouty finished with 10 goals and three assists.
