Jackson Memorial 13, No. 9 Red Bank 11

Eric Quaranta scored a game-high five goals and Dylan Furnback turned in a phenomenal performance in goal with 19 saves as the Jaguars (2-0) edged the Bucs (1-3) in Little Silver.

Jared Calhoun added three goals and one assist, Zack Tetro scored twice with one assist and Alex Aguilar also netted a pair of goals for Jackson.

Cole Smolokoff led Red Bank with three goals and four assists while Jack O'Connor and Pat Karr each scored twice. John Pierce made 10 saves.

 

Brick 7, Middletown North 2

Hunter Palmer scored a game-high four goals to lead the Dragons to their third straight win to open the season.

 

No. 1 Southern 14, Holmdel 1

Dylan Jinks exploded for six goals and four assists as the Rams (3-0) blew out the Hornets (0-2) in Manahawkin. Chris Smith added three goals while Shawn McManus had a goal and three assists and Kyle Mulrane scored twice. Brendan Lefanto made eight saves.

Justin Ruiz made 16 saves for Holmdel.

 

Lacey 14, Point Boro 1

Lucas Sirotniak scored a game-high five goals along with one assist and Connor Wilson added four goals as the Lions (2-1) overwhelmed the Panthers (0-3). Kiernan Quinn had two goals and one assist and Ryan Mahon assisted on three goals while Mike Trezza made seven saves to pick up the win.

 

Jackson Liberty 13, Middletown South 1

Dylan O'Connor had a hat trick and Max Matthies and Tyler Kalamowitz each scored twice as the Lions (2-1) routed the Eagles (1-3) in Jackson.
