Manasquan 5, Colts Neck 4

Devan Carroll's second goal of the game with 6:45 left in the fourth quarter sent the Warriors (2-1) to another come-from-behind victory in a road win over the Cougars (0-1). Senior midfielder Chris Klodowski also scored twice and sophomore attackman John Moran tallied. Sophomore Tom Pollack made six saves to earn the win.

Sophomore goalie Andrew Halmi made 21 saves for Colts Neck, which received two goals from Tice Smith and a goal and two assists from Vinnie Gargiulo.

Barnegat 17, Shore 11

Ricky Gerena scored six goals and added three assists and J.J. McKenna had four goals to lead the Bengals past the Blue Devils in their season opener.

Chris Johnson scored five goals for Shore while Doug Goldsmith had four goals, four assists and a game-high 11 ground balls.
