No. 3 Howell 9, Middletown North 5

No. 1 Southern 11, No. 10 Toms River North 4

Senior attackman Dylan Jinks and sophomore attackman Kyle Mulrane each had hat tricks to lead the Rams (13-0, 7-0) past the Mariners (8-2, 5-1) to clinch the division title for the third consecutive season.

Junior attackman Nick Simonelli finished with two goals and two assists, senior midfielder Shawn McManus had a goal and two assists and senior midfielder Chris Smith had a goal, and assist and 12 ground balls while going 12-for-14 on face-offs. Sophomore midfielder Will Johnson also scored and senior Brendan Lefanto made seven saves behind a defensive unit that held the Mariners to one goal in the second half.

Sophomore Austin Bennett made 12 saves for Toms River North, which received goals from Ryan Clancy, Tom Butz, Mike Hoy and Josh Francis.

 

Class B North

No. 2 Rumson-Fair Haven 12, Red Bank 3

Sophomore midfielder Bryan Hess scored four goals and added an assist and junior attackman Robbie Garavente had a hat trick and an assist as the Bulldogs (9-5, 7-0) took the Battle of Ridge Road over the Bucs (6-10, 3-5) to clinch the division title.

Senior midfielder Lucas Seckler finished with two goals and one assist and sophomore Charlie Curran and junior Matt Waters also scored. Sophomore Conor Deverin made 16 saves  to earn the win.

 

St. John Vianney 14, Long Branch 0

Senior Matt Adelfio scored a hat trick with two assists, Tino D'Amore also scored three times, Andrew Poretta had a goal and three assists and Rich Mullarkey had a pair of goals and one assist as the Lancers (7-7, 4-2) blanked the Green Wave (1-14, 0-5) to win their third straight game and secure a berth in the Shore Conference Tournament.

 

No. 7 Red Bank Catholic at Ranney, 4 p.m.

 

Class B South

No. 9 Barnegat 10, Wall 8

Junior attackman Ryan Reynolds scored four goals and had one assist and junior midfielder J.J. McKenna had a hat trick, two assists and a team-high six ground balls as the Bengals (5-3, 3-2) bounced back from a loss with a solid win over the Crimson Knights (9-4, 4-2).

Senior midfielder Ricky Gerena and senior attackman Matt Manno each had a goal and an assist and senior midfielder Zach Flaherty dished out three assists. Junior attackman Tristian Potts also scored.

Freshman Mike McIntyre continued his fantastic season with four more goals and junior Mike Steppe had two goals and two assists for Wall. Lucas Iarossi had a goal and an assist to go along with a game-high seven ground balls and Thomas Jenkins also had a goal and an assist. Zach Harrell made 11 saves.

 

Nondivisional

Brick Memorial 16, Marlboro 4

Senior attackman Bailey Sharpe scored six goals and added one assist to eclipse 100 career points and lead Brick Memorial (5-7) past Marlboro (1-9) in Brick.

Senior attackman Dylan Visser led all scorers with four goals and five assists and sophomore Gavin Murphy netted his first two varsity goals. Junior Billy Porter added a goal and two assists and junior Chris Sayers made 15 saves.
