Toms River North 3, Toms River East 2…Toms River North remained unbeaten with a 3-2 win over A-South rival Toms River East on Friday.  It was the first two goal the Mariners have given up all season after posting four straight shutouts.  North jumped out on the Raiders with three goals in the first half from Morgan Curtis, Krystal Hund and Maria Karagiannakis.  The Raiders would not go quietly and regrouped at halftime and made it a game scoring two goals in the second half with one each from Kaitlin Lister and Jillian Conklin. Toms River North improved to 4-0-1 while East dropped their first game of the year and fell to 3-1.

Brick Memorial 3, Brick Township 2…This isn’t  your typical divisional game, anytime these two teams get together you can throw out the records and be sure there will be no love lost between the white lines.  Friday’s action was no different as Brick Township entered with an 0-2 record while Memorial came in undefeated with a record of 2-0-2.  Brick score first with a goal from Kendall Stadelberger.  The Mustangs would answer with the next two goals from Lindsay Hernandez and Taylor Schaad.  The Dragons would not disappear and tied the game up late in the first half with a goal from Kaitlyn Kerrigan.  The score would remain tied until about twelve minutes to go when Taylor Schaad scored her second of the game and the Mustangs held on for a big A-North win.

Wall 2, Long Branch 1…Wall Township improved to 3-2 with a win over B-North foe Long Branch who dropped to 0-3.  Wall Township got first half goals from Amy Paternoster and Jessica Maywalt.  Long Branch goal came from Cameron Cox in the second half.

RBC 2, Red Bank 0…The Caseys are starting to find their form with a third straight game gaining a point.  After two straight ties, Red Bank Catholic beat B-North and cross-town rival Red Bank Regional 2-0 to improve to 2-2-2 while Red Bank Regional drops to 0-4.  The Caseys got scoring with a goal a piece from Sophia Demurjian and Olivia Lucia.

Freehold Borough 1, Middletown South 0…Freehold Borough handed Middletown South their first loss of the season with a 1-0 A-North win.   Jenna Huskey broke the scoreless tie in overtime to improve Freehold’s record to 2-1 and Middletown South dropped to 3-1.

Rumson Fair Haven 5, Holmdel 4 (Dbl Overtime)…Grace Forsyth’s game winner in double overtime gave the Bulldogs their third win of the season and improved their record to 3-1-1.  Forsyth overtime goal was her third of the game and Sofi Giglio and Grace Karagjozi each added a goal for the Bulldogs.  Holmdel who dropped to 3-2 got scoring from Hannah Lee with two goals and Gabriella Bair and Catherine Cirigliano each added a goal a piece.

St. John Vianney 5, Matawan 0…The Lancers jumped on Matawan early with two goals in the first half and three in the second to roll their way to a 5-0 win.  With the win St. John Vianney improved to 3-1-1 and Matawan dropped to 0-5.  Lancer goals from Jada Trotta score two goal, Ashley Meade, Sydney Cummings and Alex Delahunt each scored a goal a piece.

Colts Neck 5, Neptune 1…Colts Neck improved to 4-0-1 with a 5-1 victor over B-North foe Neptune Friday afternoon.  Colts Neck got a hat trick from Bridgette King and a goal a piece from Amanda Visco and Allison Russo to drop Neptune to  2-3-1.
