At Pine Belt Arena

(5) Point Boro 56, (12) Toms River South 49

Senior Ally Lassen scored 22 points and classmate Megan Hughes scored the 1,000th point of her varsity career to lead the Panthers past the Indians and into the WOBM quarterfinals. Hughes finished with nine points.

(4) Manchester 45, (13) Freehold Twp. 35

Freshman Kemari Reynolds scored 14 points and the Hawks held off the Patriots to advance to the Dec. 26 quarterfinals against Point Boro.

(9) Red Bank 54, (8) Colts Neck 32

Senior Grace Dengler poured in a game-high 18 points and the Bucs bounced the Cougars to advance to the WOBM quarterfinals.

(1) Neptune 58, (16) Monroe 33

Senior Desiree Allen went off for 37 points and the Scarlet Fliers cruised to a first-round win over the Falcons. Neptune will play No. 9 Red Bank in the quarterfinals on Dec. 26 at Pine Belt Arena.

 

At Toms River North

(6) Donovan Catholic 48, (11) Toms River East 33

Juniors Alyssa Hirschy and Melissa Buxton scored 13 points each and the Griffins pulled away to beat the Raiders and advance to the WOBM quarterfinals.

(3) Ewing 47, (14) Wall 36

Junior Kiyala Peterson scored 15 points to lead the Blue Devils to a win over the Crimson Knights and into the WOBM quarterfinals to play Donovan Catholic on Dec. 26. Junior Lauren Karabin led Wall with a game-high 16 points.

(7) Toms River North 56, (10) Brick Memorial 35

Sophomore Jenna Paul scored 19 points and junior Amanda Johnson chipped in 12 to lead the Mariners past the Mustangs and into the WOBM quarterfinals.

(2) Sayreville 58, (15) Central 53

Senior Isi Enahoro scored 23 points and the Bombers rallied from a three-point deficit heading to the fourth quarter to deny the Golden Eagles a first-round upset. Sayreville will play No. 7 Toms River North in the quarterfinals on Dec. 26 at Pine Belt Arena. Senior Ashley DellaPietro led Central with 19 points.
