Jersey Mikes Team of the Week for Week 6 of the Season is St. Rose

St. Rose started the week No. 8 in the Shore 16 rankings and went 3-0, all against teams ranked in the top ten to move them up to No. 4. Their performance in Week 6 earned them the Jersey Mikes Girls Basketball Team of the Week and they will receive a $150 Gift Card from Jersey Mikes.

The Purple Roses started the week defeating No. 2 Manasquan 49-41. St. Rose trailed as much as 16-4 to start the game, but clawed back to end the 1st quarter 17-13. In the 4th quarter they outscored the Warriors 20-10.

St. Rose knocked down 12 3-pointers on their way to defeating No. 7 Wall 70-47. They ended the week defeating No. 5 Trinity Hall 42-36 in overtime. It was a back-and-forth game where the Roses outscored Trinity Hall 10-5 in overtime. St. Rose shot 16 out of 19 from the foul-line in the game.
