(1) St. Rose 69, (5) Middletown South 49

Senior guard Kat Phipps poured in 20 of her game-high 24 points in the first half, shooting 6-for-8 from 3-point range in the half, to give the unbeaten Purple Roses (25-0) a 38-25 lead at the break on their way to a win over the Eagles (20-5) that put them in their third SCT final in the last four seasons and second in a row.

St. Rose will face second-seeded Manasquan at 6:30 p.m. on Friday at Monmouth University in the championship game. Manasquan beat St. Rose 61-41 in last year's final, and St. Rose beat Manasquan in the 2012 championship game.

Sophomore guard Jen Louro added a career-high 19 points on 8-for-11 shooting in the win, and her older sister, senior Jess Louro, chipped in with 14 points.

Junior Stephanie Karcz led Middletown South with 17 points.

(2) Manasquan 53, (3) St. John Vianney 48

Senior Marina Mabrey dropped in 22 points and grabbed eight rebounds while battling through foul trouble and senior guard Courtney Hagaman added 14 points, burying four 3-pointers, as the defending champion Warriors (22-2) returned to the SCT final by knocking off the Lancers (20-3).

Manasquan will have a rematch with St. Rose, which it beat by 20 points in last year's final, at 6:30 p.m. on Friday at Monmouth University. It will be their second meeting this season after the Purple Roses beat the Warriors in a regular-season game.

Junior guard Kelly Campbell had a game-high 25 points along with 7 rebounds and 5 assists in the loss for St. John Vianney.
