Ocean 35, Jackson Liberty 29

The Spartans evened their mark at 4-4 by exacting a measure of revenge for a 37-27 loss adminstered by Jackson Liberty last week in the first round of the Blue Devil Tournament.

Sarah Dente had 12 points, six rebounds and five assists and Bette Bradley chipped in with 11 points and five boards for Ocean. Morgan Bartlett collected nine points, six rebounds, two assists and two steals.

Trinity Hall 74, Wall 44

Collen Cusat pumped in 20 points and Caitlin Wingertzahn picked up 13 points and rejected eight shots for Trinity Hall (3-4), which built a 29-10 cushion by halftime.

Kristen Campbell led Wall (1-6) with 16 points and 11 rebounds.

Point Beach 50, Barnegat 41

Carleigh Burns sank three 3-pointers on course to a game-high 18 points and McKayla Hughes converted nine free throws among her 15 points to fuel rallying Point Beach (6-1).

The Garnet Gulls trailed, 35-29, heading into the fourth, where they erupted for a 21-6 outburst to pull out the victory. Cassidy Burns contributed nine points to the win.

Jada Baker totaled 11 points and 19 rebounds for Barngeat (4-4), Kya Joseph had 10 points and eight rebounds and Sydney Boyer had eight points and a dozen boards for the Bengals.

Girls Basketball Top 10

Shore 46, Pinelands 29

Madison LaRosa deposited 13 points and Chloe Wollman scored 10 for the Blue Devils (5-3), who established a 15-7 lead in the first quarter.

LaRosa knocked down four 3-pointers to run her season sum to 14. The Blue Devils got point contributions from nine different sources.

Red Bank 44, Brick 31

Senior guard Meghan Murray topped the Bucs (5-1) with 13 points. Chloe Teter added 12 and Caitlyn Decker netted 11.

Red Bank built a 27-11 advantage by halftime.
