A 25-yard interception return for a touchdown by Ja’Quez Johnson with 1:55 left in the game gave the Green Dragons (8-3) a 38-24 lead and then junior running back Ray Fattaruso tacked on a 40-yard touchdown run for the exclamation point to send Brick to its first state championship game since 1994 with a 45-24 win over the Burlington Township Falcons (6-4) in the Sonny’s Recycling Shore Sports Network High School Football Game of the Week.  Listen to the game audio.

Senior quarterback Carmen Sclafani had 197 yards rushing and scored four touchdowns of 4, 51, 31 and 3 yards to give him 1,098 yards rushing for the season for his second straight 1,000-yard rushing season. Fattaruso rolled up 203 yards on the ground to also go over the 1,000-yard rushing mark at 1,036. Senior kicker Anthony Starego added a 20-yard field goal and went 7-for-7 on extra points.
