Former Shore Conference standouts Dan Loizos and Kenny Bradley will lead Ithaca College against Salisbury in the ECAC Scotty Whitelaw Bowl on Saturday at the University of Delaware.

Loizos (Ocean) and Bradley (Jackson Memorial) are both senior linebackers and captains for the Bombers, who were co-champions of the Liberty League and concluded the regular season with a 7-3 record. Both Loizos and Bradley are first-team all-Liberty League selections, as well, with Loizos earning the honor for the second straight season.

In 10 games Loizos has a team-high 79 tackles with 5.5 hits for a loss, an interception and two forced fumbles, while Bradley is second on the team with 74 tackles plus a sack, an interception and a forced fumble.

Ithaca is coming off a 48-20 win over archrival Cortland to claim the 59th Cortaca Jug and snap Cortland’s seven-game winning streak in the series.

Loizos and Bradley will lead the charge in trying to stop Salisbury’s triple-option rushing attack, which averages 290.6 yards per game as one of the top rushing teams in Division III.

Ithaca also features a trio of freshman from the Shore Conference: defensive back Mekai Gandy (Howell), offensive lineman Connor McCarthy (Red Bank Regional) and wide receiver Hayden Frey (Point Boro).

Salisbury has four freshmen from the Shore Conference on its roster: quarterback Jack Navitsky (Red Bank Regional), defensive back Joe Manso (Brick Memorial), running back Carmen Catena (Colts Neck), linebacker Tommy Meyer (Manasquan)

Kickoff is scheduled for 5 p.m at Delaware Stadium.
