Welcome to the 2017 edition of the Shore Sports Network’s top plays, highlighting the most dazzling and exciting moments from Shore Conference football action.

This week we take a look at the top clips from Week 2. We can’t be filming every game at once, so if you have a great clip on YouTube, Vimeo or some other service where it can be embedded, or if you have the raw video file, feel free to email me a link at bob.badders@townsquaremedia.com or tweet it to me at @Bob_Badders.

Let’s get to some of the best plays from the Week 2 games.

10. Back with a Vengeance

After not playing football last year, Toms River South's T.J. Scuderi has provided a major boost for the Indians as a senior quarterback. He makes one cut in the backfield and is gone on an 80-yard touchdown in a 20-15 win over Toms River East.

9. Quick Hitter

Shore's John Salerno got out of the backfield in a hurry, and by the time Barnegat's defenders realized who had the ball he was off to the races on a 74-yard touchdown run.

8. Block Party

Holmdel's Nick Fanzini scoops up this blocked punt and returns it for a touchdown in the Hornets' 45-7 win over Spotswood.

7. Part of History

Freehold quarterback Ashante Worthy had a historic game against Howell with 624 combined yards (338 rushing, 286 passing) and five total touchdowns. Here he turns on the jets for a 77-yard touchdown run.

6. Naseim the Dream

Howell was able to survive a 624-yard onslaught from Freehold quarterback Ashante Worthy thanks to five turnovers, including this game-changing 94-yard interception return by Naseim Brantley.

5. Buzzer Beater

A perfect throw by Point Boro quarterback James Fara and a great catch over a defender by Brandon Cipriano gave the Panthers a touchdown on the final play of the first half during their 27-0 win over Lacey.

4. Weekly Spot

And now we bring your the weekly Naim Mayfield highlight. The Manalapan running back has had a top highlight pretty much every week we've been doing this over the past two years. Here's a great 70-yard run that led to a touchdown in a 35-0 win over Southern.

3. Blaine Train

Brick Memorial's Blaine Netterman pulls off some great moves on a 75-yard touchdown run, which helped the Mustangs knock off Toms River North, 28-14.

2. Gud Hands

This is the greatest one-yard catch I've ever see. Lacey wide receiver Dylan Gudzak casually does his best Odell Beckham Jr. impersonation by snatching this pass out of the air with one hand.

1. Mr. Jones

Asbury Park freshman Mikai Jones makes this ridiculous one-handed touchdown catch for the Blue Bishops, which was a huge play in their 20-14 overtime win over Keyport.
