Labor Day has come and gone and that means it’s time for the action to heat up on the Shore Sports Network.

Our High School Football coverage begins Thursday Night with the return of the Barnabas Health High School Football Show on 105.7 The Hawk from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Each Thursday during the season we’ll broadcast the show live from The Water Street Grill in Toms River and the opener on September 6 will preview the upcoming season in the Shore Conference.

Kevin Williams, Ed Sarluca and Matt Harmon will look at the top teams and players and peak into their crystal balls as to the division champs and teams that could make runs at state titles in December.

Then on Friday, September 7 it’s the Open MRI of Wall Game of the Week as Brick travels across town to take on rival Brick Memorial. It’s always interesting when these two neighbors and rivals get together and week one could set the tone for the entire season. Kickoff is at 7 p.m. with broadcast time on 105.7 The Hawk at 6:50 p.m.

Once again it’s Matt, Kevin & Ed on location at DeFabio Field bringing you all the action.

Monmouth University has their home opener this Saturday, September 8 following a tough season-opening loss at Lehigh University.

The Hawk host Rhode Island at Kessler Field at 1 p.m. and you can hear it all on WOBM AM 1160/1310 with Matt Harmon and Eddy Occhipinti calling it live from West Long Branch.

Hawks fans can get the inside scoop on their team each Tuesday at 7pm during the Kevin Callahan Show on 1160/1310AM. Coach Cal and the busy Matt Harmon recap the game from the previous week and look ahead, plus they’ll have guests each week.

The show is broadcast live from Jack’s Goal Line Stand in West End.

J-E-T-S….JETS, JETS, JETS! Yes Gang Green is back and they’ll kick off the 2012 season at home this Sunday against the Buffalo Bills and once again 105.7 The Hawk is your radio home for Jets football at the Jersey Shore. Coverage begins with the pre-game show Sunday at 12 noon.

All of our high school games/shows and college football action is streamed live at www.shoresportsnetork.com.

This week also marks the return of Scott Stump on the SSN web site as he’ll be providing great stories and features as well as insight into High School Football at the Jersey Shore. It’s all here for you only on The Shore Sports Network.
