I'll start this week's blog with my take on the teams that get little or no respect but carry undefeated records into week 4.

Over the course of the last 2 years, we have witnessed and may now be witnessing the 2 best offensive players to ever come out of the Shore.

While we watch and pray for the people in harms way down in Florida and in the Caribbean, the weather in New Jersey was perfect for the main start to the 2017 high school football season.

The second season begins this week with the first round of the State playoffs. 25 Shore area teams have qualified for a run at 23 State Championships to be given out over the weekend of Dec. 2-4. All six 2015 champs are back to defend their titles

High school football is sport that you can't quite predict from week to week. When you are dealing with 15 through 18 year old boys, anything is possible.

We must start this week's blog with the statement win by Toms River North over Middletown South.  The final was 41-21, but this one was over in the first quarter, as Mike Husni and Bryce Watts put on a pitch and catch display that was too much for the previous #1 Eagles...
