Former Red Bank Catholic star and NFL running back Donald Brown is the latest sports figure to join the Trinity Financial Sports & Entertainment Management Company team captained by founder and President Peter Grandich. Brown, who is a resident of Spring Lake is remembered around the Shore Conference for his exploits with the Caseys and as a senior in 2004 he ran for over 2,000 yards and scored 27 touchdowns.

The numbers kept piling up at the University of Connecticut where he rushed for a school-record 3,800 years before leaving after his junior season for the NFL draft.

Brown was taken 27th overall by the Colts and spent five year in Indianapolis before signing with the San Diego Chargers prior to the 2014 season. Following two seasons with the Chargers he was released but quickly signed with the New England Patriots where injury problems forced his release this past August.

Brown has been involved in considerable charitable work throughout his career and currently serves as an Athlete Ambassador for Natural High, a national nonprofit drug prevention program while also giving time to the International Justice Mission.

Brown and his wife Mallory are the parents of two young children. He joins well-known sports figures like Joe Klecko, Ken Daneyko, Ray Lucas, David Tyree, Jim Dowd, Nick Fotiu, Gerry Cooney, Keith Elias and Ron Greschner as advisory board members for the Spring Lake-based company.
