Toms River South 2, Jackson Memorial 1
Senior Cameron Geerinck scored two goals and the Indians (9-2, 9-1) beat the Jaguars (7-4-1, 6-3-1) for the second time this season to keep their spot on top of the Class A South standings.
Toms River North 5, Toms River East 1
Joey Hertgen scored two goals and the Mariners (6-3-1, 6-2-1) beat the Raiders (1-8-2, 1-8-1) for the second time this season. Mitch Reed, Dante Shenkin and Nikke Moreno each added a goal in the win.
No. 10 Lacey 4, Southern 2
Hunter Dorsey scored two goals and George Gartner and Robert Biele each added one to help the Lions (10-2, 8-1) beat the Rams and keep pace with Toms River South in the Class A South division title race.
Brick Memorial 3, Brick 0
Eric Fatovic scored all three goals of his hat trick after in the final 23 minutes of the game to lead the Mustangs (4-6-1, 4-5-1) to a win over the Green Dragons (1-9, 1-8).
Class B Central
Asbury Park 3, Henry Hudson 0
Alberto Moreno scored two goals in the second half after playing a shutout half in goal for the first 40 minutes and the Blue Bishops (3-9, 3-7) beat the Admirals (0-9, 0-9) to snap a seven-game losing streak. Davensky Joinvilmar opened the scoring in the first half off a corner kick by Schown Narcisse.
Point Beach 6, Keyport 1
Mike Ciorlian scored two goals and an assist and Connor Prima added a goal and an assist to help lead the Garnet Gulls (6-4-1, 6-2-1) past the Red Raiders (2-7, 2-7).
Danny Savage added a goal and an assist, Nick Antognoli chipped in a goal and starting goalkeeper Ryan Franzoni scored a goal in the second half. Johan Rosa also dished out two assists for Point Beach.
Brendan O'Brien scored the lone Keyport goal.
Ranney 2, St. Rose 1
Brendan Wall broke a 1-1 tie with a direct kick goal in the second half and the Panthers (8-3, 7-3) beat the Purple Roses (7-4, 7-3) for the first time in program history. Wall - a transfer from Holmdel High School - was making his debut for the Panthers.
Junior Asher Kraut also scored for Ranney.
No. 2 Shore 5, Mater Dei Prep 1
Senior J.T. Kessler recorded his third hat trick of the season and the Blue Devils (11-0, 9-0) cruised to a win over the Seraphs (3-7-1, 3-6-1). Dante Montesinos and Stevie Johnson also chipped in a goal each for Shore, which won its 11th straight to open the season.
Class B South
Jackson Liberty 2, Barnegat 1
Sebastian Navarro scored the equalizer in the 59th minute and Bryan Garry won it with a header in the 70th off an Alex Iorio cross to help the Lions (4-6-1, 4-4-1) rally for a win over the Bengals (3-9, 2-8).
Avery Boyer scored on a pass from Kyle Heidel to give Barnegat the lead in the 15th minute.
Donovan Catholic 1, Central 0
Tom Swanson scored six minutes into the second half on a pass from Matt Dalton and Evan Root saved five shots to earn the shutout in goal as the Griffins (7-2-2, 7-1-2) blanked the Golden Eagles (6-3-2, 6-3-1).
Point Boro 2, Pinelands 1 (OT)
Senior Nick DeCurtis scored the golden goal in the 93rd minute and the Panthers (11-1, 9-1) survived an overtime thriller against the Wildcats (6-5, 6-4)for their ninth straight win.
Sam Monaco gave Point Boro a 1-0 lead two minutes before halftime on an assist from senior Ryan Griffith before Matt O'Connell equalized in the second half on a Denilson Salgado assist.
Lakewood 1, Manchester 0
Pauly Grande scored the game-winning goal in the 71st minute off a Gio Hernandez assist as the Piners (3-7, 3-6) beat the Hawks (0-12, 0-10) for their second straight win. Moises Galvan earned the shutout in goal.
