Central 2, Brick Memorial 1

Griffin Bacon broke a tie with a penalty kick and the Golden Eagles (10-4-1, 9-4-1) survived a scare from the Mustangs (1-12-1, 1-10-1). Eric Szejnrok scored the first Central goal on a pass from Bacon before Eric O'Doherty scored to pull Brick Memorial even.

 

Class B Central

Henry Hudson 3, Mater Dei Prep 1

Jason Gonzalez, Ethan Kelley and Blaise Cauvin scored a goal each and the Admirals (5-8, 3-7) beat the Seraphs (1-11, 1-9) to sweep the regular season series.

Point Beach 4, Keyport 0

Zhen Smith and George Kaifais each notched a goal and an assist and the Garnet Gulls (6-7, 6-5) and goalkeeper Eric Monticelllo blanked the Red Raiders (0-13, 0-9). Ki Costa and Mike Ciorlian also scored a goal apiece.

 

Class B South

Pinelands 7, Barnegat 0

Matt O'Connell scored four goals for his fourth hat trick of the season and the Wildcats (12-2, 11-1) mauled the Bengals (4-11, 3-10) to move within two wins of a Class B South championship.

Anthony Diaz scored a goal and an assist, Denilson Salgado and Jordan Humphreys each chipped in a goal and Bryan Marcella added two assists in the win.

Point Boro 4, Manchester 0

Chris Bragen and Matt Kimak each tallied a goal and an assist in the first half and the Panthers (13-1, 11-1) kept pace with Pinelands in the Class B South race by beating the Hawks (3-10, 3-10).

Liam Kirinovic opened the scoring in the fourth minute and Ian Knapp capped it in the 73rd. Mason Remondelli also assisted two of the four Point Boro goals.

Donovan Catholic 2, Lacey 1

Matt Dalton scored two goals on assists from Jon Michael Pereira and the Griffins (7-6-2, 6-6-1) beat the Lions (6-8, 6-6) to clinch a spot in the Shore Conference Tournament. Dalton gave Donovan Catholic a 1-0 lead with a goal in the 15th minute and broke a 1-1 tie with a goal in the 57th.

Luke Moynihan pulled Lacey even with a goal in the 42nd minute.

 

Non-Division

Long Branch 3, Brick 2

Venancio Fernandes scored two goals and assisted one by Renan Acevedo to lead the Green Wave (5-8) to a win over the Green Dragons (5-10).
