WALL TWP. - No team has been able to beat the Wall boys soccer team to this point in the season and it is not hard to figure out why: no one can score on them.

The Crimson Knights - No. 6 in the Shore Sports Network Top 10 - recorded their sixth shutout in seven games Saturday against Manasquan and junior Dakota Dobrovich-Fago scored the deciding goal in the 51th minute to spark Wall's 2-0 win.

Dobrovich-Fago rebounded his own miss and converted the go-ahead goal in the 51st minute and junior Dan Frisch-Harmon tacked on an insurance tally in the 77th.

Senior Chris Fay sent the ball from the right corner to the far past, where Dobrovich-Fago headed it out of the air. Manasquan goalkeeper Brian Comer saved the initial header, but Dobrovich-Fago followed it up with a shot that found the back of the net and broke a scoreless tie.

With Manasquan pushing forward in search of the equalizer, junior Ben Kernis sent a clearance down the middle of the field that Frisch-Harmon turned into a breakaway that he finished to the left corner.

The shutout was the sixth in seven games for junior goalkeeper Nolan Cloney and the Wall defense. The lone goal Wall has allowed this season was an own goal in a 1-1 draw against Long Branch.

Cloney and the defense will be tested Monday when they travel to play No. 4 Ocean (6-1, 5-0), which has scored 33 goals in seven games (4.7 per game).
