Class A South

Southern 2, Brick 1 (OT)

Justin Schuster scored the golden goal in overtime on a header and the Rams topped the Green Dragons. Kyle Galloway assisted Schuster's overtime winner and also scored the first Southern goal. Tyler Madsen scored the equalizer less than two minutes after Galloway opened the scoring, tying the game at 1 in the 59th.

Jackson Memorial 3, Lacey 0

Joey Stoltenberg, Will Kaminskas and Tyler Kessler each scored a goal and the Jaguars ended a six-game unbeaten streak by the Lions.

No. 8 Brick Memorial 1, Toms River East 1

Alessio Rea scored the game-tying goal in the 66th minute and the Raiders salvaged a draw against the Mustangs. Kevin Simek scored in the 33rd minute to stake Brick Memorial to a 1-0 lead.

No. 4 Toms River South 2, No. 2 Toms River North 1

Tyler Egnatuk scored the game-winning goal 1:39 after Joey Hertgen tied the game in the 57th and the Indians held on to beat their crosstown rival and snap the Mariners' seven-game winning streak.

Jordan Urbaczek gave Toms River South an early 1-0 lead in the fourth minute with a rip to the far right corner from six yards out off a cross from Ryan Shiffer. The winning goal by Egnatuk was the first shot Toms River South attempted since Urbaczek's goal.

 

Class B Central

Point Beach 3, Ranney 2

Cory Gross scored from 25 yards out in the 76th minute to break a 2-2 tie and give the Garnet Gulls a win over the Panthers. Mike Ciorlian and Anthony Decreane each scored a goal for Point Beach, while Shane Keenan and James Geraghty each scored for Ranney.

No. 3 Shore 6, Keyport 0

J.T. Kessler recorded a hat trick and the Blue Devils scored five second-half goals to pull away from the Red Raiders. Cole Allem added a goal and an assist for Shore, while Mike Barreca and Danny Welsh each added a goal.

Asbury Park 4, Mater Dei Prep 2

Carl Cazeau pumped in a hat trick and the Blue Bishops topped the Seraphs to climb back over the .500 mark. Alberto Moreno scored the other Asbury Park goal, while Sal Salesi and Jack Taylor both scored for Mater Dei Prep, the first two goals of the season for the Seraphs.

St. Rose 5, Henry Hudson 0

Joe Forlenza scored three goals and the Purple Roses cruised past the Admirals. Matt Hunt and Matt O'Malley each added a goal in the win.

 

Class B South

Point Boro 8, Mancheter 3

Quin Hornish recorded a hat trick and the Panthers routed the Hawks for their sixth straight win.

Central 6, Barnegat 1

Senior Blake Czajkowski scored two goals, the second of which gave him 50 for his varsity career, and the Golden Eagles rolled past the Bengals. Czajkwoski also added two assists and Doug Jensen scored two goals in the win. Sophomore Youssef Abdelaziz chipped in a goal and three assists for Central.

Pinelands 4, Jackson Liberty 3

Matt O'Connell scored all three goals of his hat trick in the second half and the Wildcats rallied from a two-goal halftime deficit to stun the Lions and pick up their fourth straight win. O'Connell also assisted a first-half goal by Denilson Salado, who assisted O'Connell's game-winner in the 71st minute.

Zach Moran staked Jackson Liberty to a 1-0 lead in the sixth minute and Brandon Pirog and Bryan Garry each buried a goal to turn a 1-1 deadlock into a 3-1 Jackson Liberty lead by halftime.
