Rumson-Fair Haven 3, St. John Vianney 0

Derek McManus scored five minutes into the game off a pass from Jeremy Nives and the Bulldogs (4-6, 3-4) tacked on two more goals to beat the Lancers (2-8, 1-8). Pat Maisto scored in the 38th minute and Cole Lee added one more in the 52nd. Nives finished with two assists.

 

Class A South

Toms River North 2, Central 1 (OT)

Nico Garcia scored three minutes into the second overtime period and the Mariners outlasted the Golden Eagles (8-3, 7-3) in overtime to sweep a competitive season series. Toms River North (7-3, 7-2) also won the first meeting by a one-goal margin, 1-0.

Mitch Reed opened the scoring for Toms River North in the 25th minute off a feed from Brett Ryan before Central drew even in the 38th on a goal by Griffin Bacon.

No. 3 Toms River South 2, Toms River East 1 (OT)

Dylan Parks headed in a corner kick by Ben Brown six minutes into the second overtime period and the Indians (10-1, 10-0) fought off the Raiders (0-8-1, 0-8-1) behind a golden goal in extra time.

Toms River East goalkeeper Steve Cosentino saved a penalty kick in the 95th minute to keep the Raiders alive, but on the ensuing corner kick, Parks elevated for Brown's corner kick and headed it home to end the game.

Dustin Urbaczek scored the first Toms River South goal in the 12th minute off a feed from Chris Kluxen. Santino Celebre pulled Toms River East even with a goal in the 44th minute.

Brick 2, Brick Memorial 0

Frank Firrito broke the scoring seal in the first half and the Green Dragons (4-8, 3-7) downed the Mustangs (0-10-1, 0-8-1) to sweep the season series.

 

Class B Central

Point Beach at Henry Hudson - PPD, TBD

No. 9 Asbury Park 4, St. Rose 0

Davensky JoinVilmar and Stevenson Jean Baptiste had a hand in both Asbury Park goals in the first half and Fenelson Etienne scored two after the break as the Blue Bishops (8-0, 8-0) hammered the Purple Roses (7-4, 5-3) by a four-goal margin for the second time this season.

JoinVilmar headed in a corner kick by Jean Baptiste to open the scoring in the 27th minute and drew a foul inside the 18-yard box three minutes later. Jean Baptiste finished the penalty kick to cap the first-half scoring.

Etienne fought through a pair of St. Rose defenders and finished to the far right corner of the goal in the second minute of the second half. The senior later capped the scoring after Ronal JeanVilma dribbled up the right side and slid a cross to the middle, where Etienne finished the play from the six-yard line.

 

Class B South

Pinelands 3, Manchester 0

Matt O'Connell scored two minutes into the second half and assisted a goal by Denilson Salgado 11 minutes later to help lead the Wildcats (9-2, 8-1) to a win over the Hawks (2-8, 2-8). Sean Casciano capped the scoring in the 77th on a pass from Kieran Sundermann.

Donovan Catholic 2, Barnegat 1 (OT)

Joe Mendes scored the golden goal in the 95th minute and the Griffins (6-4-2, 5-4-1) survived an overtime battle against the Bengals (3-8, 2-7).

The two teams traded regulation goals within three minutes of one another, with Chistiaan Dailey opening the scoring for Donovan Catholic in the 35th minute and Alex Zuniga answering in the 38th on an assist from Chad Fraser.
