Cameron Geerinck scored two goals and Sergio Dippolito and Francesco LoScrudato each scored one as the Indians (11-2, 11-1) beat the Raiders (1-10-2, 1-10-1) to move into sole possession of first place in the Class A South race.

Brick Memorial 2, No. 9 Lacey 1

Brian Gerard scored his first career goal and Erik Fatovic added the game-winner in the 72nd minute to lead the Mustangs (5-7-1, 5-6-1) to a win over the Lions (12-3, 10-2), keeping their hopes of a Shore Conference Tournament berth alive.

Fatovic hit a shot from the left angle that hit the far post and bounced in to break the tie. Kip Byrne scored 30 seconds before halftime to pull Lacey even.

Toms River North 6, Brick 1

Jackson Memorial 3, Southern 0

Mike Schoener recorded a hat trick and the Jaguars (9-4-1, 8-3-1) shut out the Rams (3-10, 3-9).

 

Class B Central

St. Rose 6, Keyport 1

Anthony DeMaio scored a pair of goals to highlight a Purple Roses (9-5, 9-3) win over the Red Raiders (3-8, 3-8). Connor Cusack, Jack Cusack, Ethan Bodine and Matt Forlenza each chipped in a goal for St. Rose.

Point Beach 7, Mater Dei Prep 0

Aris Papoutsakis scored all three of his goals in the first half and the Garnet Gulls (8-4-1, 8-2-1) cruised to a win over the Seraphs (3-9-1, 3-8-1). Freshman Alex Atno added two goals, while classmate Ryan Brodeur and sophomore Mike Ciorlian each added one.

Ranney 5, Henry Hudson 0

AO Odunlami, Jazz Henry, Asher Kraut and Austin Dobrzynski each scored and the Panthers (9-4, 8-4) blanked the Admirals (0-11, 0-11).

No. 2 Shore 8, Asbury Park 0

Stevie Johnson and Dante Montesinos each scored two goals and the Blue Devils (13-0, 11-0) beat the Blue Bishops (3-11, 3-9) to clinch at least a share of the Class B Central title. J.T. Kessler also scored and Matt Quesada, Marcopolo DeOliveira and Brandon DeNovaes each added their first varsity goal in the win.

 

Class B South

Central 5, Manchester 0

Jake Dufner scored two goals and added an assist to lead the Golden Eagles (8-3-2, 8-3-1) to a win over the Hawks (0-14, 0-12).

Donovan Catholic 2, Barnegat 0

Jon Michael Pereira broke a scoreless tie with a goal in the 74th minute off a pass from Matt Dalton and Alec Mapoy added an insurace goal in the 78th to help the Griffins (9-2-2, 9-1-2) pull out a win over the Bengals (3-12, 2-11).

Bryce Grant assisted Mapoy's goal and Kevin Dillon locked down his third straight shutout in goal while filling in for injured starter Evan Root.

Point Boro 4, Jackson Liberty 1

Pinelands 3, Lakewood 2

Matt O'Connell scored in the 70th minute to cap a second-half comeback as the Wildcats (8-5, 8-4) rallied from a two-goal halftime deficit to beat the Piners (3-10, 3-9). O'Connell also assisted the equalizer by Denilson Salgado in the 46th minute.

Donovan Duelly scored 3:05 into the second half to cut the deficit to 2-1 and also assisted O'Connell's winner.

Eduardo Castillo and Anthony Calixto each scored first-half goals to stake Lakewood to a 2-0 lead.
