Senior Dante Montesinos scored two goals and seniot Stevie Johnson added another to help the Blue Devils (3-0-4, 2-0-3) top the Lancers for their first divisional win since beating Matawan on opening day.

 

Class A South

Central 4, Brick Memorial 0

Senior Griffin Bacon recorded his second hat trick of the season and the Golden Eagles coasted to a win over the Mustangs. Senior Frank Golda added a goal and an assist for Central.

Jackson Memorial 5, Brick 0

Senior Mike Schoener recorded a hat trick and freshman Dan Russo added two of his own as the Jaguars blanked the Green Dragons.

No. 2 Toms River South 1, No. 7 Toms River North 0

Senior Ben Brown scored from close range amidst a scrum 1:24 into the game and the Indians made that one goal hold up in a win over the Mariners. Senior Tyler Egnatuk got a piece of Chris Kluxen's long throw and Ben Brown poked the ball into goal to break the ice early.

Senior Dom Pizzi earned the shutout in goal, saving a low far-post shot by Toms River North senior Mitch Reed in the 71st minute.

 

Class B Central

Henry Hudson 2, Mater Dei Prep 1

Senior Ethan Kelley and sophomore Jason Gonzalez each scored a goal and the Admirals edged the Seraphs to win their second straight Class B Central game and climb above .500.

Point Beach 7, Keyport 1

Freshman George Kaiafas and junior Mike Ciorlian each scored two goals and the Garnet Gulls coasted to a win over the Red Raiders. Kaiafas added an assist while senior Connor Prima and sophomore Ryan Brodeur each contributed a goal and an assist for Point Beach.

Derick DePolo also scored the other goal for the Gulls, while Anthony Decraene assisted two goals and Ki Costa helped out on one.

Gadiel Escobar scored the lone Keyport goal on a free kick.

Asbury Park 3, Ranney 0

Junior Davensky JoinVilmar assisted second-half goals by Fenelson Etienne, Ronald JeanVilmar and Eben Landau and the Blue Bishops (5-0, 5-0) broke open a scoreless game at half to beat the Panthers and remain perfect on the season.

 

Class B South

Jackson Liberty 2, Lakewood 1

Senior Nate Santana converted a penalty kick during the first overtime period and the Lions beat the Piners on a golden goal.

Senior Kyle McCauley scored the first Jackson Liberty goal off a feed from junior Sebastian Navarro. Senior Anthony Calixto scored the lone Lakewood goal.

Point Boro 5, Manchester 0

Liam Kirinovic was one of Point Boro players to score a goal and also added an assist as the Panthers routed the Hawks.

Matt Kimak and Mariano Maradiegue scored a minute apart from one anotherin the 12th and 13th minutes to open the scoring and Jimmy Yochim and Nick Duda each added a goal before the half. Mason Remondelli also had two assists in the win.

Pinelands 6, Barnegat 0

Senior Matt O'Connell scored three consecutive goals and the Wildcats buried the Bengals to remain perfect against B South competition.

O'Connell also assisted a goal by senior Denilson Salgado that opened the scoring in the 14th minute. Salgado assisted a goal by senior Jordan Humphreys to make the score 5-0 and Adam Raynor capped the scoring on a pass from Luke Mathis.

Lacey 2, Donovan Catholic 0

Junior Reilly Hunt scored a goal and assisted another by sophomore Kip Byrne to lead the Lions to a win over the Griffins.
