(4) Wall 1 (20) Long Branch 1 (Wall advances in penalty kicks, 4-2)

Wall goalkeeper Jack Wishart saved two penalty kicks during the shootout round and the Crimson Knights advanced past the Green Wave and into the SCT quarterfinals for the third straight season. Wall will host No. 5 Shore on Tuesday.

Junior Connor Fry scored the game's first goal 56 seconds before halftime off a set-up by senior Brendan Barcas, putting Wall on top 1-0. Freshman Juan Carlos Merino responded with the equalizer in the 51st minute off a pass from Sam Hernandez.

Wishart saved the first and fourth attempts by Long Branch in the shootout, the second of which clinched the victory.

(19) Marlboro 3, (3) Toms River North 2

Bryan DaSilva followed up his five-goal game in the first round with a golden goal in the first overtime period to lift the Mustangs to a win over the Mariners. Marlboro will play at No. 11 Freehold Township on Tuesday, the Mustangs' first trip to the SCT quarterfinals since they won the tournament in 2009.

Max Rodenberg set up the game-winner by DaSilva and Ryan LaRocca gave Marlboro a 1-0 lead in the sixth minute. Ryan Cheslock scored the first equalizer for Toms River North and assisted Nick Hund's goal that tied the score at 2 in the 52nd minute.

Marlboro lost both regular-season meetings agains Freehold Township, including a 1-0, overtime loss at Freehold Township and a 4-0 defeat in the most recent meeting. Over its last 17 Shore Conference Tournament games spanning five tournaments, Marlboro is now 12-3-2 with trips to the quarterfinals in all five appearances.

(2) Manalapan 2, (18) Toms River East 0

Ryan Hammer scored two goals and the Braves beat the Raiders to advance to the SCT quarterfinals Tuesday against No. 7 Jackson Memorial. Hammer got open in the box in the 47th minute and headed a cross from Ayush Mittal break a scoreless tie.

He later ran down a long pass from Mitch Volis and tapped a breakaway shot past goalkeeper Drew Ugaro to put the game on ice in the 72nd minute. Ugaro played in place of starter Justin Tegeder, who injured his right hand in the 12th minute and was unable to return.

Manalapan starting goalkeeper Justin Terr saved Toms River East's best opprotunity of the game, making a leaping save on a header by Alessio Rea by pushing it over the crossbar with one hand.

(5) Shore 4, (12) Central 2

Dante Montesinos scored the game-winning goal in the 72nd minute and J.T. Kessler capped the scoring with his second goal of the game - 31st of the season - as the Blue Devils twice rallied from a one-goal deficit to beat the Golden Eagles.

Central senior Blake Czajkowski scored two goals off passes from Doug Jensen in the second half, the first of which put Central up 1-0 and the second, 2-1. Lucas Bongarzone tied the game at 1 in the 57th minute with a shot to the far right corner off a set-up by Kessler.

After Czajkowski again put Central ahead in the 65th minute, Shore tied the game in the 70th on a penalty kick by Kessler after a foul just inside the right corner of the 18-yard box. Central goalkeeper Bryan Jones got his fingers on the kick, but Kessler hit it hard enough and close enough to the post to get it past the senior keeper.

Montesinos gave Shore the lead for good by beating a defender and recovering a blocked pass before ripping a shot to the left side of the goal. Kessler finished a breakaway with 39 seconds left to cap the scoring.

Shore will travel to No. 4 Wall in the quarterfinals on Tuesday.

(11) Freehold Twp. 1, (6) CBA 0

Senior Kyle Czajkowski headed in a cross from sophomore Sean O'Donnell in the 72nd minute and the Patriots held on to beat the Colts and advance to the SCT quarterfinals Tuesday against No. 19 Marlboro. Goalkeeper Brian Shushkovsky earned the shutout and made two key first-half saves to keep CBA off the board.

CBA goalkeeper David Krall also made an acrobatic save in the first half to preserve a scoreless game at halftime.

(7) Jackson Memorial 2, (10) Matawan 0

Anthony Nappi scored the deciding goal in the 19th minute and sophomore Brian Scheno added a penalty kick in the 29th minute as the Jaguars topped the Huskies to advance to a quarterfinal match against defending champion and No. 2 Manalapan.

Jackson Memorial goalkeeper Chris Juhasz saved a breakaway attempt by Matawan leading scorer Alex Cella in the second half to protect the two-goal lead and highlight his shutout effort.

(25) St. John Vianney 2, (9) Point Boro 1

Will Denneny headed in a Christian Bruno free kick in the final 30 seconds and the Lancers knocked off the Panthers to advance to the SCT quarterfinals. Bruno also tied the game with a first-half penalty kick, the result of a hand ball in the box.

St. John Vianney will travel to face either No. 1 Toms River South or No. 16 Ocean in Tuesday's quarterfinals.

(1) Toms River South 1, (16) Ocean 1 (TR South advances in penalty kicks, 5-3)

Senior Kollin White saved two penalty kicks during the shootout while his team converted all five of their kicks, propelling the Indians past the Spartans and into the SCT quarterfinals. Toms River South will host No. 25 St. John Vianney on Tuesday.

Wadneson Alexis gave Ocean a 1-0 lead in the second half, but Jordan Urbaczek answered right back for Toms River South off a pass from Cameron Geerinck.
