Class A North

No. 3 Colts Neck 2, CBA 2

Devin Gavrushenko ripped a shot off a CBA defender and into the net with 13 seconds left in regulation to tie the game at two and help give the Cougars a hard-earned draw against the Colts.

Russell Romano gave CBA the lead with a goal in the 49th after the Colts tied it at 1 on a goal by Tom Lozowski just before halftime. Colts Neck took the lead when Colton LaLima headed in a corner kick by Taylor Demick.

Both teams were missing multiple starters Saturday, with CBA missing six players due to injury and club soccer commitments. Colts Neck, meanwhile, played without seniors Dom Ricci (illness) and Michael Jelinsky (concussion) and lost senior Brian Winderman to an ankle injury in the first half.

Class B South

Point Boro 3, Jackson Liberty 2 (OT)

Gunnar Schnappauf scored the game-tying goal in the 53rd and the golden goal in overtime to rally the Panthers to a win over the Lions. Nick DeCurtis scored the other Point Boro goal in the fifth minute to but the Panthers ahead, 1-0.

Tyler Chamra scored in the 20th minute to tie the game at 2 and Bryan Garry gave Jackson Liberty the lead with a goal in the 28th.

Non-Division

Red Bank Catholic 1, Middletown North 1

Crispin D'Augusta scored in the 70th minute to force overtime and the Lions and Caseys battled to a draw. Chris Cesario opened the scoring with a goal in the 60th to put the Caseys on top, 1-0.

Middletown South 2, Freehold 1

Hunter Davey broke a 1-1 tie with a goal in the 72nd minute and the Eagles edged the Colonials in a non-division match. Liam Davis assisted the winning goal and also scored the first goal of the game in the 10th minute.
