Senior Tyler DiGiovanni scored two goals and Mike Flaherty added a third as the Rebels beat the Eagles for their first win of the season.

Senior Bryan DaSilva broke a scoreless tie with a goal in the 67th minute and sophomore Ryan LaRocca tacked on a goal in the 71st as the Mustangs emerged with a win over the Lions. Senior Max Rodenberg assisted both Marlboro goals.

No. 1 Manalapan 3, No. 3 CBA 0

Ryan Hammer scored his sixth and seventh goals of the season to both open and cap the scoring and the Braves rolled to an impressive win over the Colts.

Hammer opened the scoring in the 32nd minute with a chip over CBA keeper Dave Krall off a touch from junior Pio Schiano Lamoriello. Senior Adam Weisberger buried a direct kick from 20 yards out in the 75th minute following a hand ball call to put Manalapan ahead, 2-0.

Hammer capped the scoring by drilling a 30-yard shot to the upper far right of the goal off a direct kick in the 78th minute.

No. 9 Long Branch 2, Monmouth 0

Senior Guilherme DeNovaes converted a penalty kick in the 75th minute to break a scoreless tie and added his eighth goal of the season two minutes later to help the Green Wave pull out a win over the previously-unbeaten Falcons. Freshman Juan Carlos Merino set up De Novaes' insurance goal in the 77th minute.

Neptune 1, Raritan 1

The Rockets and Scarlet Fliers traded first-half goals and played to a stalemate the rest of the way in an inter-divisional draw. Dan Del Russo finished a cross from Louis DiLaurenzio in the fifth minute before Neptune answered with a header by Spencer Holt off a cross from Vinny Tremarco the 18th.

Ryan Casciani had a chance to give Raritan the lead in the 68th minute, but Neptune goalkeeper Irving Rodriguez made the crucial save to preserve the tie.

Colts Neck 2, No. 5 Holmdel 1

Senior Kevin Murch scored on a breakaway four minutes into the second half and the Cougars (1-2) held on to beat the Hornets (1-2) for their first win of the season. Kevin Colonna scored the equalizer in the 10th minute after Holmdel senior Menos Hiras opened the scoring in the second minute.

Manasquan 5, Jackson Liberty 4

Ed Franzoni recorded a hat trick before Enrique Perez scored the golden goal with 1:46 left in the first overtime period to cap a wild Warriors win over the Lions. All five Manasquan goals came after halftime, at which point Jackson Liberty led 2-0.

Brandon Pirog opened the scoring in the first half and gave Jackson Liberty a 3-2 lead with a direct kick in the 69th minute for his second goal. Franzonie answered with consecutive goals within a three-minute stretch to give Manasquan a 4-3 lead, but 30 seconds after the go-ahead goal by Franzonie, Jackson Liberty senior Adam Haidi buried the equalizer in the 75th minute.

Alex Iorio scored the second Jackson Liberty goal and Mike Lyons also added a goal for Manasquan.

Wall 2, St. Rose 0

Senior Brendan Barcas scored his third goal of the season in the 39th minute and senior Joe Tashjy added an insurance tally in the 75th to lead the Crimson Knights to a win over the Hornets. Tashjy also assisted Barcas' goal, while Zach Hetzel set up the second goal.
