Ramzi Habiby opened the scoring with a goal in the 18th minute off an assist from Georges Fiori and the Lions (3-5-1, 3-5-0) swept the season series with the rival Eagles (2-8-0, 1-8-0). Dan Bennett added an insurance score in the 70th minute off a feed from Jeff Rodre.
Class A Central
St. John Vianney 6, Red Bank Catholic 2
Chris Loney, Dylan Olsen and Vincent Durso each scored two goals and the Lancers (4-5-0, 3-5-0) routed the Caseys (5-4-1, 4-4-0) for their second straight win after a 2-5 start. Chris Cesario and Pat Meehan contributed the two RBC goals.
No. 5 Holmdel 2, No. 2 Rumson-Fair Haven 1
Gino D'Agostino scored off a through-ball from Jack Flanagan to tie the game in the 53rd minute and Eric D'Aleo won it with a penalty kick in the 60th to lead the Hornets (8-1-1, 6-1-1) to a win against the Bulldogs (8-1-1, 5-1-1) that forces a first-place tie in the loss column in Class A Central.
Rumson took the lead in the 50th minute on a goal by Jamie Martin off a corner kick by Chris Drummond.
Holmdel goalkeeper Tyler Marchiano made eight saves to help limit the Bulldogs to one goal.

Alejandro Fernandez scored off a cross from Tom Hernandez and the Mustangs (5-5-0, 4-4-0) topped the Green Dragons (0-7-2, 0-6-2) in a battle of Brick.
Class B North
No. 1 Ocean 1, Wall 1
Brendan Barcas scored late in the second half to send the game to overtime and the Crimson Knights (4-1-6, 2-1-5) and Spartans (6-0-4, 4-0-4) tied for the second time this season. This was the fourth straight tie for Wall and the third straight for Ocean.

Stefano Muniz scored off a throw-in from Brian Dolan in the first overtime period and the Braves (8-1-0) beat the Jaguars (7-3-1) for their second golden-goal victory in as many days. Manalapan beat CBA 1-0 with on a goal with 17 seconds left in the second overtime period.
Monmouth 4, Point Beach 1
Paul Gonzalez scored two goals and handed out an assist as the Falcons (2-9-0) rolled to a win over the Garnet Gulls (6-3-0).

Sophomore Ygor DaSilva scored his first varsity goal in the 72nd minute off a cross from Giobrahny Padilla and the Green Wave (3-5-2) beat the Rams (4-6-2) to snap a seven-game winless streak.

Nick DeCurtis scored 11 minutes into the second half off a pass from Weston Bargholz and the Panthers (9-2-0) topped the Purple Roses (4-6-1).
