Matt Thorsheim, CBA

The Colts elevated to the No. 1 position in the Shore Sports Network Top 10 last week and Thorsheim helped steer a talented CBA squad to wins over both Freehold Township and Freehold Boro. He scored two goals and assisted the game-winner by Matt Mawson in the win over the Patriots on Thursday and slammed home a penalty kick for the golden goal in Saturday’s 3-2 win over the Colonials. Thorsheim also assisted three goals in a 6-0 win over Middletown South earlier in the week.
