Class A North

Colts Neck 4, Freehold Boro 2

Zack Ferchak scored two goals and Ethan Kilmnick chipped in a goal and an assist to help the Cougars (7-6, 6-6) rally from a 2-0 deficit to beat the Colonials (5-8, 5-6) and clinch a Shore Conference Tournament berth. Christian Saavedra also scored a goal in the Colts Neck win.

Jake Brower scored a goal and assisted one by Alexis Mayorga to stake Freehold Boro to a 2-0 lead in the first half.

No. 3 Freehold Twp. 2, No. 2 Marlboro 2

Freehold Township's Adrian Barajas and Marlboro's P.J. Ringel traded goals within a minute of one another late in the second half and the Patriots (8-4-1, 7-4-1) and Mustangs (11-1-1, 9-1-1) played to a draw.

The result gives Marlboro no worse than a share of the Shore Conference Class A North public division title, which the Mustangs can win outright with a draw or better in their final three divisional games, or a Freehold Township loss or draw in either of its final two division games.

Barajas scored the go-ahead goal in the 77th minute before Ringel scored through a scrum in the box in the 78th. Barajas scored the first Freehold Township goal as well before Steven Karp converted a free kick to equalize for Marlboro in the 26th.

Manalapan 3, Neptune 0

Quentin Pickering and Rocky Garretson each scored a goal and the Braves (4-7-1, 4-7-0) beat the Scarlet Fliers (1-10, 1-10). Neptune also conceded an own goal in the loss.

 

Class A Central

Raritan 3, Red Bank 2 (OT)

Jake Fortune scored the golden goal in the 98th minute with a near-post run and finish and the Rockets (8-2-2, 5-2-2) prevailed on the road against the Bucs (4-7-1, 4-5-1) to remain alive in the race for the Class A Central title.

Alec Fortune scored the equalizer in the second half to earn Raritan a chance to win in overtime. Dan Del Russo scored Raritan's only first-half goal.

Dee Caban and Kevin Gomez each scored for Red Bank during the first half, with Aiden Castelle assisting both goals.

 

Class A South

No. 5 Toms River South 5, Brick Memorial 2

Dustin Urbaczek recorded his first hat trick and the Indians (11-1-1, 11-0-1) outscored the Mustangs (1-11-1, 1-9-1) 3-0 in the second half to blow open a tie game at halftime.

Dylan Parks also scored a goal and freshman Jack Seitz added his first varsity goal for Toms River South. Erik Fatovic and Angel Suarez each scored a goal for Brick Memorial.

Central 2, Southern 0

Vinnie Nelson and Corey Carsten scored goals 10 minutes apart in the first half and the Golden Eagles (9-4-1, 8-4-1) held off the Rams (8-5, 6-5) to sweep the regular-season series.

Nelson toe-poked a diagonal cross by Eric Szejnrok into the goal in the 11th minute to put Central ahead 1-0. In the 21st, Nate Wiley played the ball through to a streaking Carsten, who touched it past goalkeeper Jay Boehler and walked it into the goal.

Jackson Memorial 3, Toms River East 0

Chris Sichenze, Joe Schlageter and Mike Schoener each scored a goal and the Jaguars (7-7, 6-7) stormed past the Raiders (0-10-1, 0-10-1) to stay in the hunt for a spot in the Shore Conference Tournament. Freshman Joe Weinstein earned his first shutout in goal.

No. 10 Toms River North 7, Brick 0

Nico Garcia and Victor Colasordo each scored two goals and the the Mariners (9-3, 9-2) steamrolled the Green Dragons (5-9, 4-8) to stay in the race for the A South title.

Andrew Casey, Mitch Reed and Harmony Bel Gam each added a goal for Toms River North.

 

Class B North

No. 4 Ocean 4, Middletown South 1

Santieno Harding scored the lone goal in the first half and assisted the go-ahead goal by Steve Carton in the 57th minute as the Spartans (11-1, 10-1) pulled away for a win over the Eagles (5-8-1, 4-7-1).

Mike Jarostchuk headed in a corner kick to pull Middletown South even in the 42nd minute before Carton answered with the winner 16 minutes later. A minute and a half later, James Schutz split the defense with a through ball and Joey Russomano tracked it down and scored to extend the Ocean lead to 3-1.

Mike Mauro capped the scoring in the 67th on a pass from Zach Sintic.

 

Class B Central

Keyport at St. Rose - PPD, TBD

No. 8 Asbury Park 4, Point Beach 2

Jonathan Desulme scored a goal and assisted another to help the Blue Bishops (10-1, 10-0) outlast the Garnet Gulls (5-7, 5-5) and remain perfect within Class B Central play. Davensky JoinVilmar, Cavialy Romulus and Fenelson Etienne each added a goal and Ronald JeanVilma chipped in two assists.

Alex Atno and Ki Costa accounted for the two Point Beach goals.

 

Class B South

Lakewood 2, Manchester 0

Anthony Calixto scored two more goals and the Piners (7-8, 5-7) upended the Hawks (3-9, 3-9) to keep their hopes of an SCT berth alive. With his pair of goals on Monday, Calixto has scored eight goals in Lakewood's last three games - all Piners wins.

Pinelands 4, Jackson Liberty 0

Matt O'Connell scored two goals and assisted another by Tim Kelleher as the Wildcats (11-2, 10-1) and goalkeeper Brian Kelleher shutout the Lions (5-7-1, 3-7-1). Kelleher also assisted a goal by Jordan Humphreys that capped the scoring in the 67th.
