Class A North

No. 7 Howell 3, Neptune 0

Adam Jiries, Tom Adams and Robert Saunders each scored a goal and the Rebels (8-2-1, 8-2-1) beat the Scarlet Fliers (4-6, 3-6) for their eighth straight win. With Freehold Township's win over CBA, Howell now controls its own destiny in its pursuit for a Class A North division title. The Rebels travel to CBA on Tuesday.

No. 10 Freehold Twp. 3, No. 2 CBA 1

Jon Finocchiaro, Alonzo Konstantinidis and Kevin Finn all scored second-half goals and the Patriots (9-4, 8-3) rallied from a one-goal halftime deficit to hand the Colts (12-2, 9-1) their first Shore Conference loss of the season. Konstantinidis assisted the goals by Finocchiaro and Finn.

Jack Gill scored the CBA goal on an assist from Dom Bellomo.

Manalapan 2, Colts Neck 1

Gavin Lebright scored the winning goal in the 75th minute and the Braves (3-5-3, 3-4-3) edged the Cougars (3-9, 2-9). Lebright also scored to give Manalapan a 1-0 lead before Zack Fercheck evened the score at 1-1 in the 64th.

Freehold Boro 2, Marlboro 1

Cam Elslager headed in the golden goal by Jake Brower in overtime and the Colonials (7-7, 6-5) beat the Mustangs (0-11-2, 0-9-2) in overtime to pull back to the .500 mark.

 

Class A Central

Matawan 2, St. John Vianney 0

Matt Weisburg and Giovani Barsoum each scored a goal and the Huskies (5-5-1, 4-5-1) blanked the Lancers (2-8-1, 2-7-1) to reach the .500 mark.

Raritan 2, No. 9 Rumson-Fair Haven 1

Jake Fortune scored the go-ahead goal in the 65th minute and the Rockets (4-4-2, 2-4-2) topped the Bulldogs (9-2-1, 6-2-1). Joe Seber opened up the scoring in the 25th for Raritan on an assist from Anthony Sparacino.

Cole Lee converted a penalty kick in the 50th minute to tie the score at 1-1.

Shore 2, Red Bank 1

Ryan Bongarzone and Leo Montesinos each scored a goal and the Blue Devils (6-7-1, 5-4-1) edged the Bucs (1-10, 1-8) to inch closer to the .500 mark as the Shore Conference Tournament cutoff approaches.

 

Class B North

No. 5 Ocean 2, Middletown North 1

Luke Yates scored from just outside outside the 18-yard box in overtime and the Spartans (10-2, 10-1) beat the Lions (7-7, 4-7) to clinch at least a share of the Class B North championship.

Steve Carton scored the first Ocean goal and Liam McGregor accounted for the Middletown North score.

Manasquan 2, Wall 1 (OT)

Dulio Guerro scored the winning goal with 32 seconds left in the second overtime period and the Warriors (3-9-1, 2-8-1) topped the Crimson Knights (6-7, 5-6) in dramatic fashion.

The game remained scoreless for the first 60 minutes until Nick Bilotti headed in a Chris Black set piece in the 61st to break the ice.

Wall tied the game in the 75th on a goal by Kevin Kile, who poked in a scramble in the box.

Manasquan won the game despite losing Black to a straight red card for a tackle and playing a man down for the final two minutes of regulation and overtime

Monmouth 2, Red Bank Catholic 1

Brian Waltsak scored two goals, including the game-winner in the 72nd minute, to lead the Falcons (9-5, 7-4) to a win over the Caseys (3-10, 1-10).

Middletown South 6, No. 8 Long Branch 0

Connell MacLellan recorded a hat trick and the Eagles (8-4-1, 6-4-1) rolled through the the Green Wave (9-4, 7-4). Mike Zito, Tyler Jerome and Aaron Oliveira all added a goal apiece and Jonathan Santos added two assists each in the win.
