Chris Hoskins scored twice on headers and Kyle Trainor capped the scoring with his first varsity goal as the Patriots blanked the Rebels. Hadi Raoofi set up Hoskins's first goal with a cross for his first career point and Maltese assisted the second goal by Hoskins with a free kick. Trainor also scored on a header on a cross from Ryan Morrison.

Toms River North 6, Southern 0

Raz Chabra led a five-goal first half by Toms River North with two goals and the Mariners rolled to a win over the Rams. Mitch Reed, Matt Benvenuto, Andrew Foti and Gal Chabra each added a goal in the win.

 

Class B North

No. 7 Ocean 1, No. 3 Wall 0

Luis Araya scored from 35 yards out on a bouncing shot over goalkeeper Nolan Cloney's head and into the goal six minutes into the game and the Spartans held on to beat the Crimson Knights to clinch the Class B North championship.

Araya's goal was the first by an opposing player against Wall, which had allowed just one goal all season prior to Friday, which came on an own goal.

Senior goalkeeper Yanni Kavarakas made a diving save on a point-blank shot off a corner kick in the final minute of the first half to preserve the lead.

Cloney als saved eight shots to help keep the Crimson Knights within a goal, including a pair of diving saves in the first half.

Leo DaSilva and Venancio Fernandes each scored a goal and the Green Wave beat the Bucs to keep their SCT hopes alive.

Sophomore Santino Celebre scored five goals and assisted a goal by Alex Matos to help the Raiders win their second straight game.

Jackson Liberty 4, Point Beach 2

Brandon Pirog scored a goal and assisted two others to lead the Lions to a win over the Garnet Gulls. Sebastian Navarro, Nate Santana and Evan Salaj also added a goal each for Jackson Liberty
