Jake Preziose had a hat trick and Nick Tuccillo made 15 saves as the Hornets (7-4) picked up a win over a ranked opponent by taking down the Rebels (7-3).
Justin Arredondo added a goal and two assists while Dan Bunting, Alex Van Name, Jack Kapcsos and Quinn Pavlinetz each scored once.
Joey Sorrentino scored twice and Nick Roberto had eight saves for Howell. Keith Hallbauer, Pat Handy and Anthony Cinelli each scored once and James Fay had two assists.
