CLASS A NORTH

No. 7 Howell 10, Neptune 2

Senior midfielder Pat Handy recorded a hat trick while sophomores Logan Dennison and Vaughn Meehan each scored twice to pace the Rebels (3-2, 1-1) defeated the Scarlet Fliers (1-3, 0-2).

Jared Badillo and James Fay each tallied one goal and two assists and Keith Hallbauer had one goal and one assist. Senior goalie Nick Roberto made seven saves and senior LSM Sean Mylod collected a team-high seven ground balls.

 

CLASS A SOUTH

No. 8 Jackson Memorial 10, Toms River South 4

 

NONDIVISIONAL

No. 5 Wall 14, Brick Memorial 7

The Crimson Knights (5-1) doubled-up the Mustangs (1-3) for their fourth straight win.

Brick Memorial was led by senior attackman Joey Ferrara, who scored three goals and added two assists. Freshman Jared Crippen scored twice and Ian Thomas had one goal and one assist. Jake White made 13 saves.

 

Red Bank Catholic 16, Donovan Catholic 9

Kyle Boggio scored four goals and added two assists and Ryan Schellin had a hat trick along with one assist to lead the Caseys (2-4) to a victory over the Griffins (0-4).

Jack Pollackov tallied two goals and four assists and Jack Zenkert had two goals and two assists. Pat Brady and Steve Pesce also scored twice while Kyle Harms had a goal and an assist. Colin Marshall made eight saves.

 

NONCONFERENCE

No. 2 CBA 11, Robbinsville 4

Senior attackman Robbie Hermansen scored two goals and added three assists and senior midfielder Luke Valentino tallied two goals and two assists as the Colts (5-0) continued their hot start by downing the Ravens (4-2).

Connor Macrae and Kyle Aldridge each scored twice and Michael Carroll and Chris Junquet each notched a goal and an assist. Kevin Junquet chipped in with one goal and Chris Downey made nine saves.

 

Long Branch 4, Newark East Side 3

Isaiah Gonzalez scored three times and Zahdieer Blueford tallied once as the Green Wave (1-6) edged the Red Raiders (0-3) to pick up their first win of the season. Joshua Juliano had an assist and a team-high nine ground balls.
