CLASS A NORTH

No. 2 CBA 19, Neptune 3

Freshman Dan Martin scored four goals and added two assists and senior Dylan Johnson scored four goals with one assist to lead the Colts (6-0, 2-0) to a win over the Scarlet Fliers (1-4, 0-3).

Chris Romano and Mason Rudolph scored twice, Michael Carroll had a goal and two assists and Connor Macrae and Kyle Aldridge each tallied one goal and one assist. Robbie Hermansen, Luke Valentino, Luke Grover and Conor Ruckert had one goal apiece. Noah D'Andrea got the start in goal and made four saves.

Nick Brown scored twice and Jahi Neely scored once for Neptune. Seamus McAnee made seven saves and Hector Molina made three saves.

CBA held a 29-8 advantage in shots and led 11-2 at halftime.

 

No. 7 Howell 4, Middletown North 3

Joey Sorrentino scored twice, including the go-ahead goal in the fourth quarter, as the Rebels (4-2, 2-1) held off an upset bid by the Lions (3-3, 1-1).

James Fay and Chase Burke each scored once, Vaughn Meehan went 7-for-11 on face-offs and Nick Roberto made eight saves.

Quinn Aker scored twice, Pete Abbes had a goal and two assists and Joey Dam made 12 saves for Middletown North.

 

CLASS B NORTH

No. 4 Rumson-Fair Haven 10, Ocean 6

 

No. 9 St. John Vianney 8, Red Bank Catholic 5

Andrew Gosse recorded a hat trick and C.J. Hanson made 19 saves as the Lancers (3-2, 1-0) scored the game's final three goals to pull away from the Caseys (2-5, 0-2) and record their third straight win.

Mike D'Anzeri added two goals and one assist, Josh O'Leary scored twice and Nick Peckyno had one goal and three assists. James Guilbert collected a game-high eight ground balls.

Ryan Schellin had a hat trick and Colin Marshall made 19 saves to lead Red Bank Catholic. Jack Zenkert and Pat Brady each scored once.

 

 

CLASS B SOUTH

No. 1 Manasquan 17, St. Rose 2

Junior attackman Canyon Birch had another monster game with 10 goals to lead the top-ranked Warriors (6-0, 2-0) past the Purple Roses (1-5, 0-2).

Casey Mulligan added a goal and two assists, Mike Cielecki had one goal and one assist and Ryan Anderson had four assists. Sean Anderson, Trey Brehm, Reilly Callahan, Evan Hilla and James McElduff each scored once. Mike LaPoint made two saves to pick up the win.

Spencer Flynn and Shane Reilly scored for St. Rose while Brendan Perry made six saves.

 

No. 5 Wall 11, Jackson Liberty 10

Tim O'Hern sank the game-winning goal off a pass from Will Forte with 7:11 left in the game as the Crimson Knights (6-1, 2-0) rallied from a four-goal deficit to edge the Lions (2-5, 1-1).

Jack Textor had a hat trick and Mike McIntyre had two goals and two assists to lead Wall's offense. Connor Prindiville scored twice, including the game-tying goal with 9:19 to play, and Forte had one goal and two assists.

Tom Ferullo scored three goals and added one assist and backup goalie Chris Longo was outstanding with 11 saves to lead Jackson Liberty. Brandon Gorski and Brendan Sheerin each scored twice and Jake Bosco and Max Matthies each tallied one goal and one assist.

 

NONDIVISIONAL

Shore 10, Point Boro 2

Ryan Morris sank three goals and assisted on three others and Nick Chrochet also notched a hat trick as the Blue Devils (5-1) ran past the Panthers (3-4) for their fifth straight win.

Tom Bocco added two goals, Gil Goldsmith had a goal and four assists and Jake Turner tallied one goal and two assists. Matt O'Donnell went 8-for-12 on face-offs and Scott Sirianni made 10 saves.

Dylan Kovolesky and Cormac McCabe scored for Point Boro while Parker Roncin made nine saves.

 

NONCONFERENCE

Middletown South 16, Bishop Ahr 0

Dan Rossi fired in five goals and Shane Murphy and Oscar Cruz combined on the shutout in goal as the Eagles (6-2) dominated the Trojans (1-3).

Ryan Grzeszczak added three goals and Matt Fallon notched two goals and two assists.
