No. 2 CBA 13, No. 9 Howell 0

Thomas Convery scored three goals and added one assist, freshman Dan Martin had two goals and one assist and the defense and goalies Chris Downey and Noah D'Andrea pitched a shutout as the Colts (11-0) remained unbeaten by blanking the Rebels (8-4).

Mike Carroll, Robbie Hermansen and Luke Valentino also scored twice while Kevin Junquet and Dillon Quinn scored once. Connor Macrae and Chris Junquet each had two assists. Downey and D'Andrea made three saves each.

Nick Roberto made 15 saves for Howell.

No. 7 Shore 12, Jackson Liberty 8

Jake Turner scored three goals and added one assist to reach 100 career points and Gil Goldsmith delivered three goals and six assists to lead the Blue Devils (11-2) past the Lions (4-9).

Ran Morris added two goals and three assists, Tom Bocco scored twice and Jack McCrae and Justin Murphy had one goal apiece. Scott Sirianni made seven saves.

Max Matthies had a hat trick to lead Jackson Liberty. Nick Labianca scored twice while Tom Ferrullo, Brendan Sheerin and Joe Granzo each scored once.

 

No. 10 Middletown South 10, Toms River East 6

Junior midfielder Matt Tardy sank five goals and senior Dan Rossi added a hat trick as the Eagles (12-2) opened an 8-2 halftime lead on their way to winning their ninth straight game.

Matt Fallon and Matt Ferrigno each scored once and Shane Murphy made 10 saves.

Senior attackman Ryan Buckler had a hat trick to lead Toms River East. Matt Gannon scored twice and Salvatore Esposito recorded his 100th career point with a goal in the first quarter. Tyber Budrow made five saves.

 

Lacey 15, Brick 12

Junior attackman Dylan Vitale produced a 10-point game by scoring seven goals and adding three assists to power the Lions (6-4) past the Dragons.

JoeCarlo Chimenti added two goals and two assists and Dom Waltonowski notched a goal and three assists. Clayton Humcke had two goals and one assist, Chris Augustine scored twice and Brett Spafford scored once. Senior goalie Justin Covey made 15 saves and also had two assists.

Richie Cosgrove had four goals and four assists and Will Swiderski had three goals and two assists to lead Brick.

 

Marlboro 11, Barnegat 10 (OT)

 

Brick Memorial 17, Long Branch 0

Joey Ferrara had four goals and four assists and Rex Freeman also scored four times to lead the Mustangs (5-7) past the Green Wave (1-14).

Matt Ingenito had a hat trick, Ian Thomas scored twice and Tyler Sindel had a goal and an assist. Mike Erydelyi, John Gellici, Chris Marks and Darren Smalley each scored once and Jake White made four saves.

Connor Wolf made nine saves for Long Branch

 

Middletown North 7, Toms River South 4

Sophomore attackman Pete Abbes tallied three goals and two assists and junior attackman Quinn Aker had a goal and two assists as the Lions (7-6) beat the Indians (2-8) to clinch a spot in the Shore Conference Tournament.

John Miranda had a goal and an assist, Joe Blackwood and Brayden Gazzette each scored once and Alec Zenker went 12-for-14 on face-offs.

Colts Neck 9, Red Bank Catholic 5

Nick Lago and Zack Alagna each scored three goals to lead the Cougars (5-6) past the Caseys (4-9). Anastagio Muscara added a goal and two assists and Tristan McMerty and Rich Kemple each scored once. Dan SanFillippo contributed two assists.

Jack Zenkert had two goals and two assists to lead Red Bank Catholic. Ryan Schellin also scored twice and Jack Pollackov scored once.

No. 4 Southern 15, Egg Harbor 6

Cade Johnson had four goals and one assist and Ryan Comfort and Ajani Steverson both had hat tricks in the Rams' (9-2) victory over the Eagles (5-7).

Aniello Russo and Ryan McWhorter each tallied one goal and four assists while Nick Stankus had two goals and one assist. Justin Liu scored once and Luke Maul made seven saves. Senior face-off specialist Anthony Firmani won his 600th career draw.

 

St. Peter's Prep 13, No. 6 Rumson-Fair Haven 8

 

No. 8 Holmdel 12, Pennington 3

Jake Preziose scored six goals and Justin Cohen tallied four goals and one assist as the Hornets (10-4) built a 9-1 halftime lead and topped the Red Raiders (3-9).

Jack Kapcsos added one goal and three assists, Dan Tempone scored once, Dan Bunting had three assists and Joe Hazel had two assists. Nick Tuccillo made eight saves.

 

Point Boro 10, Lawrence 2

The Panthers (4-10) used a balanced offense and 14 saves by Parker Roncin to defeat the Cardinals (8-3). T.J. Palazzo, Cormac McCabe and Liam Connelly each tallied two goals and one assist and Dylan Kovolesky and Tanner Gordon also scored twice. Scott Franceschini collected a game-high 11 ground balls.
