CLASS A NORTH

No. 6 Howell 11, Middletown North 7

CLASS A SOUTH

No. 3 Southern 14, No. 7 Toms River North 2

The Rams (9-0, 6-0) put a stranglehold on the division with a dominating victory over the Mariners (9-2, 5-1).

Senior attackman Nick Simonelli scored three goals and added three assists while junior Will Johnson and senior James Manzo each finished with three goals and one assist. Kyle Mulrane scored twice, Jon Manzo had one goal and one assist while Nick Fontana and Chris Citarella each scored once. Junior goalie Tristan Farina made 15 saves, including eight in the second quarter, and took a shutout into the fourth quarter.

Nick Pica and Tom Butz scored for Toms River North, and Noah Squires made 10 saves.

Southern can clinch its fourth straight division title with a win over Brick Memorial on Wednesday.

 

CLASS B NORTH

No. 1 Rumson-Fair Haven 12, Red Bank 7

Senior attackman Henry Sillen scored six goals and added two assists and junior midfielder Alex Werner scored twice to power the Bulldogs (8-3, 5-0) past the rival Bucs (6-8, 4-3).

Senior attackman Robbie Garavente had one goal and two assists and senior midfielder Matt Waters had one goal and one assist. Senior attackman Griffin Schultz and junior attackman Charlie Curran each scored once and senior goalie Kyle Knapp made 16 saves.

Senior midfielder Brian Fagan scored four goals with one assist and senior midfielder Ryan Gilmartin had one goal and one assist. Sophomore Dan Bonanno and senior Cole Smolokoff scored once and senior goalie Jon Pierce was outstanding with 21 saves.

 

Shore 12. Holmdel 7

Senior midfielder Doug Goldsmith and freshman midfielder Gil Goldsmith each had four goals and three assists to lead the Blue Devils (8-4, 4-2) past the Hornets (3-10, 3-4).

Senior Jack Britton had three goals and one assist and Ean Delehanty scored once. Hunter Avallone made six saves.

Jack Cook had four goals and two assists while going 20 for 22 on face-offs to lead Holmdel.

 

Red Bank Catholic 23, Ranney 10

Senior midfielder Liam McArdle scored six goals and added two assists to reach 100 career points as the Caseys (7-5, 3-3) cruised past the Panthers (0-8, 0-7).

Senior attackman Alec Mintz had two goals and five assists and sophomore James Mele had two goals and three assists.

Jack Torpey and Matthew Torpey each scored three times for Ranney. Eric Stavola had two goals and Ian Dobrzynski made 25 saves.

 

CLASS B SOUTH

Jackson Liberty 13, Point Boro 4

Senior attackman Tyler Kalmowitz scored five goals to lead the Lions (8-4, 3-2) past the Panthers (5-6, 2-3) for their fifth straight win.

Randy Vengen, Max Matthies and Watler Matthies each scored twice and Chris Mulholland made five saves.

Matt Schwartz had two goals for Point Boro.
