Class A North

No. 1 CBA 64, Manalapan 45

Senior Pat Andree scored 15 of his game-high 31 points in the fourth quarter and the top-ranked Colts (6-1, 3-0) overcame a three-point halftime deficit to beat the Braves (3-3, 1-2) for their fifth straight win. Andree has now scored 30 or more points in three straight games.

Andree shot 12-for-19 from the floor and 5-for-7 from behind the three-point line in the game and also added 10 rebounds and five assists. He hit his first three three-point attempts of the second half and shot 8-for-10 from the field after halftime, at which point Manalapan led CBA 29-26.

Senior Jack McGuire also added 24 points and 11 rebounds for CBA, which outscored Manalapan 22-10 in the third quarter to seize control of the game. Senior John Salcedo handed out nine assists in the game as well.

Junior John Lugo led a balanced scoring effort for Manalapan with 11 points. Sophomore Matan Zucker added 10 in defeat.

 

Class B Central

No. 6 Ranney 86, Asbury Park 62

Freshman Bryan Antoine scored a career-high 39 points to go with five rebounds, seven assists and six steals as the Panthers (7-0, 4-0) rolled to a win over Blue Bishops (2-4, 2-2) to remain unbeaten and hand Asbury Park its fourth straight loss. Antoine scored 16 of his points during a 32-17 Ranney run during the duration of the second quarter.

Freshman Scottie Lewis added 22 points, five rebounds and three blocks for Ranney while junior Sam Metzger chipped in seven points and nine rebounds in the win.

Junior Josmere Taylor scored 21 points to lead Asbury Park, while sophomore Ja'King Agostini added 13 and junior Christian Braggs added 11 in the loss.

 

Non-Division

Freehold Boro 54, Jackson Liberty 49

Junior Markee Gill scored 15 points and senior Jake Curry added 15 to help the Colonials (3-4) top the Lions (2-4) for their second straight win. Sophomore Ashante Worthy also pitched in nine points in the win.

Dan Sofield led Jackson Liberty with 19 points while Nico Montano chipped in 11 in defeat.

 

Non-Conference

No. 3 Manasquan 47, Allentown 42

Senior Ryan Jensen and junior Tom Sheehan led four Manasquan players in double-figure scoring with 12 points each and the Warriors outlasted the Redbirds (3-4) to remain unbeaten.

Jensen also grabbed eight rebounds, while Sheehan chipped in six rebounds and four assists. Senior Jack Sheehan pitched in 11 points and six rebounds and senior Shane Flanagan added 10 points.
