No. 3 Rumson-Fair Haven 47, No. 9 Red Bank Catholic 42

Junior Jackson McCarthy scored 10 points and grabbed eight rebounds to earn team MVP honors as the Bulldogs (14-1) rode an all-around effort to a win over the rival Caseys (13-5), their 11th straight win.

Sophomore Phil Wheeler led Rumson with 11 points off the bench and also grabbed five rebounds to go with two steals, while senior Teddy Sourlis knocked down three three-pointers for nine points in the win.

Senior center Elijah McAllister also added six points, 11 rebounds and four blocks for Rumson and senior Devin Cooper helped close out the game by scoring all six of his points in the fourth quarter.

Sophomore Charlie Gordinier led Red Bank Catholic with 11 points and senior John Kelly added 10 points, seven rebounds and two blocks in the loss.

Roselle Catholic 75, No. 1 Ranney 50

Ithiel Horton scored a game-high 19 points and senior center and Asbury Park native Nazreon Reid scored his 1,000th career point as the Lions (14-3) overwhelmed an undermanned Panthers (15-4) squad.

Juniors Bryan Antoine and Ahmadu Sarnor scored 18 points each to lead Ranney, which played without junior starters Scottie Lewis (ankle) and Alex Klatsky (concussion). Sarnor took home the team MVP award, while Horton was named Roselle Catholic's MVP.

Reid, an LSU commit and a McDonald's All-American - scored his 1,000th point on a one-handed slam with two minutes left in the third quarter.

Junior Kahlil Whitley scored 17 points for Roselle Catholic and senior Alanzo Frank also reached double-figures with 10 points.

Non-Division

Barnegat 58, Middletown South 49

Senior Alex Grogan hit four three-pointers and finished with a team-high 14 points as the Bengals (12-5) hit Middletown South (10-7) with a 19-8 fourth-quarter run to sew up a key road non-divisional win over the Eagles.

Senior Carson Francisco added 13 points and junior Sean Morris pitched in 10 for Barnegat. Senior Mike Revello also contributed nine points in the win.

Central 41, Manchester 40

Junior Nick Altieri scored a game-high 19 points and hit the winning three-pointer with 20 seconds left as the Golden Eagles (6-13) topped the Hawks (1-14). Junior Walter Maldonado also chipped in nine points for Central.

Senior Jesse Devero led Manchester with 14 points and senior Mike Richardson pitched in nine in the loss.

Pinelands 47, Monmouth 42

Junior Anthony Diaz scored 18 points and classmate Andrew Schulz added 16 to help the Wildcats (10-7) outlast the Falcons (1-15).
