St. Rose 67, Keansburg 57

Sophomore John Beattie scored a game-high 23 points and the Purple Roses (5-2, 3-1) topped the Titans (2-4, 1-3). Senior John Crowley added 13 points for St. Rose.

Senior Danny Vital led Keansburg with 22 points and senior Paul Eckleberry added 10 in the loss.

No. 2 Mater Dei Prep 88, Asbury Park 45

Senior Kyle Cardaci scored 20 points and senior Adam Afifi recorded a triple-double to lead the Seraphs (6-0) past the Blue Bishops (3-4) for their sixth straight win to open the season.

Afifi scored 11 points, grabbed 11 rebounds and blocked 10 shots. Senior Kenny Jones and junior Alex Rice each added 17 points, with Jones adding six rebounds and six assists for Mater Dei.

Senior Ja'King Agostini led Asbury Park with 15 points and 11 rebounds while senior Donte Abrams added 12 points in the loss.

Pinelands 53, Ocean 49

Junior Anthony Diaz scored 17 points and the Wildcats (3-4) scored a non-divisional win over the Spartans (2-5). Junior Andrew Schulz and sophomore Ryan Skeie each added 13 points for Pinelands, which limited Ocean sophomore standout Jack Miller to four points.

Senior Andrew Seager led Ocean with a game-high 27 points and junior Luke Yates added 10 in the loss.

Red Bank Catholic 62, Red Bank 43

Sophomore Charlie Gordinier scored 23 points and RBC blew open a two-point game at halftime with a big second half to lead the Caseys (6-2) to a win over the crosstown-rival Bucs (1-6). Senior John Kelly added 13 points for RBC.

Junior Liam Joyce led Red Bank with 16 points and sophomore Matt Weidman added nine in the loss.

Barnegat 52, Raritan 37

Senior Mike Revello scored 18 points and classmate Carson Francisco added 17 to lead the Bengals (3-3) to a road win over the Rockets (3-4). Junior Sean Morris chipped in 10 points in the loss.

Junior Pat Bowles led Raritan with 12 points.

No. 9 Point Beach 65, St. John Vianney 55

Senior Josh Yates scored 23 points and sophomore Jake Clark added 14 to lead the Garnet Gulls (4-2) to a win over the Lancers (2-5).

Senior Chris Mikos led St. John Vianney with 24 points and 11 rebounds.

Jackson Liberty 50, Jackson Memorial 44

Junior Daniel Sofield scored 20 points and grabbed 11 boards and the Lions (4-2) held off the Jaguars (2-4) in a battle of Jackson squads - the first ever win for Liberty over Jackson Memorial. Junior Takai Anderson poured in 13 points and classmate Miles Neal pitched in 10 for Jackson Liberty.

Senior Alex Cabrera led Jackson Memorial with 18 points and junior Gerard Panella added 10 in the loss.

No. 3 Rumson-Fair Haven 58, Middletown South 48

Junior Ian O'Connor scored 25 points and senior Elijah McAllister blocked a career-high 13 shots to lead the Bulldogs (4-1) past the Eagles (3-4). Senior Jack Solano and junior Jackson McCarthy each scored 11 points for Rumson.

Senior Dave Gervase led Middletown South with 16 points.
