Class A North

No. 7 Freehold Twp. 75, Middletown North 63

Senior Nick Facendo scored 15 of his game-high 24 points in the fourth quarter and added six rebounds and 10 assists as the Patriots pulled away for a win over the Lions.

Senior John Carroll added 24 points and 12 rebounds and junior Bobby Weise scored nine of his 14 points in the third quarter, including three of his four three-pointers.

Freshman Rob Higgins led Middletown North with 17 points, while senior Colin Frawley added 13 and junior Marc Cerbo poured in 12 off the bench.

Marlboro 59, Middletown South 51

Junior P.J. Ringel scored 21 points and the Mustangs topped the Eagles to stay in the Class A North Public division title race, a game behind Freehold Township.

Senior Noah Kiczales added 10 points in the win.

 

Class A Central

No. 3 Rumson-Fair Haven 79, Shore 34

Senior Brendan Barry scored a game-high 20 points and the Bulldogs hit 14 three-pointers as a team against the Blue Devils on the way to their 11th straight win.

Barry hit three three-pointers, as did senior Matt Healy, who finished with 10 points. Junior Ryan Jones led Shore with 11 points.

Holmdel 46, St. John Vianney 44

Sophomore Kyle Cardaci hit three go-ahead free throws with three seconds left and finished with 25 points as the Hornets knocked off the Lancers on the road. Senior Max Phillips added eight points for Holmdel.

Raritan 42, Monmouth 39

Senior Eddie Tynion scored 24 of Raritan's 42 points to lead the Rockets to a road win over the Falcons.

 

Class B North

No. 10 Long Branch 45, Red Bank Catholic 42

Senior Anthony Velazquez scored 16 points and junior Cascius Briggs added 10 as the Green Wave edged the Caseys to snap a brief two-game skid.

Senior Eddie Hahn led Red Bank Catholic with 14 points.

Ocean 62, Wall 53

Senior Yianni Kavarakas scored 14 points and senior Manny Padron added 13 points and five assists to help lead the Spartans to a win over the Crimson Knights. Junior Darius Brown also scored 11 points for Ocean.

Junior Gene Scott led Wall with a game-high 19 points.

Colts Neck 58, Neptune 40

Senior Lloyd Daniels scored 19 of his game-high 26 points in the second half and added nine rebounds, eight assists and four steals as the Cougars pulled away to beat the Scarlet Fliers and sweep the season series between the two teams.

Senior Tom O'Reilly added 13 points for Colts Neck. Junior Barry Brown led Neptune with 13 points and three steals.

Red Bank 48, Matawan 32

Senior Sadiq Palmer scored 15 points to go with eight rebounds, three steals and two blocks, leading the Bucs to a win over the Huskies. Senior Matt Reardon also poured in 14 points for Red Bank.

Junior Patrick Hennessy led Matawan with nine points.

 

Class B Central

No. 2 Mater Dei Prep 71, Keyport 24

Junior Elijah Barnes scored 14 points and senior NyQuan McCombs and sophomore Kenny Jones added 10 apiece as the Seraphs casted to a win over th Red Raiders.

Patrick School 61, No. 4 Manasquan 43

Senior Jack Sheehan scored 14 points and nine rebounds but the Warriors fell to the Celtics - the No. 2 ranked team in N.J. Senior Ryan Jensen added 10 points, eight rebounds, four blocks and four steals and Devin Jensen added eight points.

Junior Nick Richards led the Patrick School with a game-high 20 points.
