Senior Mark Valeriani scored 19 points and the Rams (1-1) rallied from a three-point deficit heading into the third quarter to beat the Falcons (0-2) and advance to the Score at the Shore quarterfinals.

Junior Thomas Foster added 14 points and four rebounds, junior Jake DuBois had nine points and three assists and senior Matt Mershon chipped in eight points, six rebounds, five assists and and three blocks for Southern.

Cape May Tech 50, Pinelands 46

Sophomore Anthony Diaz scored 16 points to go with four rebounds and five assists, but it wasn't enough for the Wildcats (0-2) to overcome Cape May Tech. Senior Chris Burke also poured in 14 points in the loss.

Moorestown 54, Southern 46

Junior Jake DuBois poured in 15 points and senior Mark Valeriani added 12, but the Rams came up short against the Quakers in their season opener.
