Shore Sports Network Player of the Week

Gerard Nocera, Sr., Holmdel

Holmdel has made its mark over the last few years as a team that thrives on the perimeter and that has still been the case during the Hornets’ four-game winning streak. In addition to the shooting, Holmdel has had some quality interior play thanks to the versatile Nocera. He averaged 23 points in three games this week, which included a 36-point outburst in a 72-60 road win over Rumson-Fair Haven. That win got Holmdel back in the division race considering the Hornets have a match-up with first-place Manasquan this week.
