There are plenty of senior classes who have endured both losing and winning, but rarely has a group of seniors experienced the roller coaster that Wall seniors Brendan Barcas, Ryan Janeczek and Trent Mitchell have.

After falling one game short of winning a Class B North division title as sophomore starters, the trio suffered through a 1-11 division record last season. Over the last eight games, however, those Wall seniors have rediscovered their winning ways.

Senior Joe Tashjy scored the go-ahead basket on a tip-in with 30 seconds left and the Crimson Knights (9-2, 6-1) hung on to beat No. 8 Colts Neck (8-3, 5-2) for their eighth straight win. With the win, coupled with a Red Bank loss to Red Bank Catholic, Wall moves into sole possession of first place one year after finishing last place in Class B North.

Tashjy finished with nine points, while Brendan Barcas and Ryan Janeczek led Wall with 13 points each. Senior Trent Mitchell also poured in 11 points in the win.

Senior Chris O'Reilly led Colts Neck with a game-high 19 points.
