Junior Jack Solano scored 28 of his career-high 32 points in the second half and the Bulldogs (2-0, 2-0) beat the Rockets (1-3, 0-3). Senior Tyler Pierson added seven points, 15 rebounds and six blocks while junior Teddy Sourlis poured in nine points.

Class B North

No. 5 Middletown North 54, Ocean 43

Sophomore Rob Higgins scored 21 points to lead the Lions (2-1, 2-1) to a win over the Spartans (1-2, 1-2). Junior Dave Campbell added 11 points in the win, while junior Andrew Seager led Ocean with 17 points.
