Boys Basketball: Ben DiBiase Steps Down at Freehold

Freehold boys basketball head coach Ben DiBiase said on Wednesday that he has resigned as the Colonials' head coach after seven seasons for personal reasons.

DiBiase led the Colonials to the Class B North championship and the Shore Conference Tournament semifinals in the 2009-10 season, when they finished 21-6 with the tandem of 1,000-point scorers Christian Garcia and Lance McKenzie for their second consecutive 20-win season. The Colonials finished 4-16 this past winter in DiBiase's final season.
